What If... What If?

Marvel's What If...? Is a captivating animated anthology that reimagines pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Season 1 stands out with its inventive storytelling and stunning animation, exploring alternate realities where beloved characters take unexpected paths. Season 2 continues this trend, delving deeper into the multiverse with fresh narratives and exciting twists. However, Season 3, while still enjoyable, didn't quite capture the magic of its predecessors for me. Overall, Season 1 remains the pinnacle of creativity, making it a must-watch for any Marvel fan eager to explore the endless possibilities within this beloved universe.

Only one word can define this last season, it is simply "DISGREAT" whether it is at the level of the story which is poorly developed or even the characters who are simply pathetic. I would have hoped for better.

We could have been offered better stories since there are a multitude of different universes, I was captivated by the first season but the second season cooled me down and now the third has simply disgusted me.

There are several variants of peter parker, tony stark, steve roger, wanda, shuri, nick fury... that could have been developed but instead they gave us characters that everyone quickly forgets.

... Or a 10 year old kid?

The first season had a wow factor, in addition to being the first new animated Marvel series, exploring the multiverse and infinite possibilities. The episodes were presenting a character story, to eventually assemble them all in a 2 episodes finale, that was epic.

Season 2 explored more original/unknown characters, but got lost in between with poor writting and some lazy story shortcuts, definitely suffering from the short lengh/few episodes of the season. Some episodes still had a sense of creativity and a tone by themselves though.

Now, season 3... was the most uninteresting season. The writting was so lazy, the jokes were lame, and there was mostly no plot at all, with huge shortcuts and plot holes. The "what if" pitch wasn't even obvious in every episode, some were just parallel stories but I couldn't find any "what if" reason for it.

The finale was absolutely NOT interesting, I couldn't care less about those characters and the Watcher.

Honestly, I hope season 3 writers didn't go on the WGA strike cause they have absolutely no reason to, seing how little writing skills they have... I hope there will never ever be a What if 4th season. Such a disapointment.

So you telling me that anyone can become a watcher. Like way overpower characters that can beat anything. Like the fight scenes don't make any sense. The superior watchers suppose to be this ultra powerful gods who are treated like no ones and dumb characters. That they suppose to see everything and couldn't see this? And also the same super serum that captain America took, and some how Peggy is the most powerful character? This is very lazy writing and really dumb downs other characters who really lost everything and had to take DEFEAT to grow as a person and LEARN/TRAIN to better their powers. This is qualities what a good character should have. Not an overpowering character that can beats anything just because, same characters that other strong characters faced defeat and had to learn to get better. Just lazy writing. What if season 3, Peggy character the one above all. Really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Seeing how other characters with same power actually struggling and learning. Just to come an overpowered character that we have to pretend is a mirror to a beloved character.

I like it, it's a solid ending really, I like how they took the oath to become powerful as them. Yes, this show had so much potential that they did not explore enough, we also needed at least one storm epsiode and even one birdy (or what her name is) to have more depth for the character, and I think that a show like this has to be longer, you can't expect to have a show with soo muchh potential just for it to end in 4hrs. Personally, season 1 was amazing, season 2 was interesting and entertaining, season 3 was as well, but lacked depth of characters, and made me feel like if I just watch the finale it would be enough, the agatha epiosde for example had no meaning to set the finale, in my opinion, make them all connect, or don't make them connect at all.

Ill give it a solid 8 just for the battle and ultron was bad as as well. If Kevin listened to fans... this would have been legendary. Still nice overall.
