Un hombre abandonado

Although the script is simple, it is still very beautiful. It's a movie that takes you through all the emotions from hopelessness and sadness to happiness all while keeping you hooked. The direction, music choices, and all the actors were amazing. The lead; Mert gave one of his best performances in here and completely different from all his other characters.

I loved it, it was such a great story I wish it was a bit longer. Baran tried his best to move forward with his life, he did his best despite all the challenges he kept facing. I loved his relationship with Lydia (Mert and Ada did such a great job). He opened to her since the beginning and the last lines in the movie warmed my heart. Baran who learned not to cry or show much of his emotion, all the pain was in his eyes and in the few breakdowns he had, you just want to hug him and tell him you're doing great 😭 the whole cast did an amazing job, I truly recommend it.

The movie takes you on an emotional, heartwarming journey, highlighting the hopeful and touching side of the story rather than dwelling on its darkness. The performances are outstanding Mert Ramazan Demir brilliantly portrays Baran's helplessness and heavy burden, and how he gradually finds hope through his bond with his nephew.

The movie is a perfect choice for a simple, comforting evening. While the story does feel a little rushed at times and lacks long emotional scenes, it remains a beautiful and a heartfelt journey centred on hope and the strength to rise again after each loss.

The film's greatest strength lies in its cast. From the child actors to the supporting roles and especially the lead, Mert, every performance truly shines. Despite the movie not having many deep or long emotional scenes, the actors managed to move the audience through the subtle, genuine moments. In particular, the lead delivers an amazing performance, conveying the character's full range of emotions from anger and despair to tentative hope and happiness in a way that feels both powerful and reel that I found myself tearing up several times while watching.

The movie was truly beautiful and full of emotions. It captures the heaviness of the heart in a way that feels very real, while the scenes between Lidya and Baran bring a sense of warmth and tenderness that balances it beautifully.

The performances were excellent, every actor fit their role perfectly and delivered with conviction. Their acting made the story even more engaging.

What held the film back, however, was its length. At only 1 hour 30 minutes, it felt too short to fully develop the story. The direction could have been stronger, and the editing was not entirely convincing. In the attempt to shorten the film, some important scenes were cut, which left parts of the story without the justice they deserved.
