This was just an absolutely phenomenal episode. It is insane how they managed to cram such great storytelling and animation quality into a 26-minute video, even less with the intro and outro; making me feel the same emotions as watching a movie. This episode did a great job of explaining the enemies' motivations, in this case, Haschwalth and Bazz-B. By showing us why they are fighting for Yhwach's cause and mixing their backstories with the fight scenes, it allows us to grow a connection with them. Overall, this episode masterfully combines storytelling and animation, making it a standout in the season. It not only entertains but also deepens our understanding of these characters and their motivations, leaving us waiting eagerly for what's next.
This is once again one of those episodes that shows that Thousand Year Blood War can pull off some amazibg writting and character depth, just as much as they can pull of some amazing fights... and this episode gives us both!
This episode really added another Layer to The villains, Quincies, but mostly Bazz B! Its an achievement to make me care and resonate this much with a character in just half an episode! I understood his hatred! His motivations and his actions way more than I thought I would!
The way it cuts between past and present t to show the reason behind each action was perfect! The animation was also incredible as if the creators still wanna surprise me!
In the end I was actually in tears after an episode that turned out way better than I thought!

Jugo and Bazz spent their childhood together, but their paths diverged once they met Yhwach. They now stand against each other as enemies, but what's truly in their hearts? Meanwhile, Kenpachi Zaraki and Mayuri Kurotsuchi face off against the weirdest Quincy yet! Given Bazz-B's enduring popularity and "Friend's" strong reception among manga readers, expectations were understandably high for his animated duel against his childhood friend, Jugram Haschwalth. The fact that Thousand-Year Blood War's anime has been consistently good only made fans' hope even higher. Fortunately, "Friend"completely blew all expectations away. Regardless of the quality of Part 3 - The Conflict's coming finale is, "Friend" is easily one of the best episodes in both the cour and.
It was absolutely pinnacle of fiction both story wise and in terms of animation. The execution was perfect, Tsuru and Dali Chen gave us the best episode of this cour and Yuki Sato absolutely cooked with all those amazing cuts. I could not see the episode being better. PEAK FICTION. This is not the end of the fight, or should I say not the end of this moment and their friendship. We'll see some more in future episodes and Jugram's conclusion.
All the Yhwach scenes were just outwardly with One True Messiah and Hell's Die For Our Sins OSTs. The compositing was as goof as Yamamoto vs Yhwach. It's easily a 10/10 episode.

I'm not glazing here, genuinely speaking it was one of the most beautiful ep I had ever seen. The emotions the dialogues everything was so perfect. It was so emotional I'm still not recovering from it. I love how bleach always provides subtle hints instead of very vivid ones, those who do not pay attention won't ever get it but those who do, it stings like hell. Anybody would interpret here that jugo didn't care abt bazz and was very prideful of his position but the subtle hints given there such as when jugo was shaking whilst climbing the stairs and his eyes all covered with here, u get a doubt if he was sad about it but u r not sure. But at the end of the ep Jugram's poem proved that he felt pain.
