Proof that Family Guy has the worst comedy writers in the history of all comedy: In this episode, the ham-fisted almost-pun is that Brett Cavanaugh is so stupid that Peter Griffin could slide into his seat unnoticed. Canaugh was accused of heinous depraved acts of rape by disgraced accuser Christine Blasey Ford who was found to have point-blake lied about the entire events and who never had met Brett Cavanaugh. This episode alone should bump Family Guy off the air forever, but liberal media moguls have seem to prove a lack of spine, honor, or integrity. What's frightening is the amount of time that has passed since the Christine Blasey Ford revelation wgile Fanily Guy made a horrendous attempt at shoving politics down everyone's throat. Even for liberals, this episode has been wodely perceived as a desperate and unfunny approach to influencing politics. Seth MacFarland, there is something called Tik Tok if that's what you had aspired to be after decades of building an empire. This particular episode is the joke it attempts to make. Ultimaty, it's just sheer pathetic pandering.
I watch family guy since it's beginning, I watched all episodes until now. Sure the quality dropped in recent years, but it was always watchable. Well, not anymore... I don't know who wrote this episode, but it seems it was written by bluesky feminists or reddit moderators, this is the worst family guy episode ever.
It's not just because it's way too political, but also because the writing is complete garbage, I'm sorry but this is the truth, it's so bad that everyone in my living room facepalmed at the same time and told me to change channels. The writing has that typical dumb millennial humor, that type that wants to let you know they know internet stuff but end it up making it lame and cringe. It felt like a letter for an ex boyfriend who cheated on them. It's unwatchable, I had to fast forward to the end.
This is why no one likes Family Guy anymore. American Dad is better. South park is much better, the goat. And now we even have Smiling Friends, that makes family guy look ridiculous.
Maybe it's time to let Family Guy go.

As far as modern Family Guy goes, this was one of the funniest and most memorable episodes of this era, especially with what has happened lately. This episode is about drunk Peter swapping roles with Brett Kavannah, followed up with a very compelling storyline, good use of celebrity satire, and tons of great jokes. I'm debating between giving it 9 stars and 10, but for now 9.
So far, Season 23 (minus the Xmas special) has been good so far, and an improvement of Season 22's mediocrity. 5 episodes in, and I'm getting high hopes for this season. Only time will tell if it continues to be good, but it sure looks like it.

So, yeah, a take on the US Supreme Court could have been very interesting and funny.
We had a lot of wacky antics, and some of it was funny, but.... what were they trying to say? Marriage is bad for everyone? That's pretty light.
It felt like they were trying desperately not to offend either side of politics. This from a show that prides itself on offending anyone, yet seems to have lost its voice.
"Brett" was more irritating than funny.
The episode story didn't really fit together either, just one thing happening after a while without any direction or structure.
A little swing but a big miss.

Seth McFarland once again proves he just sucks at political satire. At least the trump episodes got a few laughs out of me. This episode just fell flat and is outdated. Kavanaugh got nominated 7 years ago. And no, i dont hate this episode because of my political views. Im not a republican and never voted in favor for trump or his nominations. Its just that bad. No matter who you vote for you will hate this episode. Plot is terrible. The only person who would enjoy the mediocre jokes and references in this episode are your politics obsessed facebook posting aunt/uncle or mother in-law. Just terrible. Seth, please never do anything political again.
