Amazing. Combines the best of comedy with the best of cinematography and story telling. You're not going to see a better episode of television this year. The one shot is well-crafted and perfectly timed. Rogen plays the Costanza role perfectly Barinholtz and O'Hara are marvelous. Watching this will spoil you for other television.

I am a harsh critic. I often have high expectations of my cinema and television, literature and music. I love shows that start with a fantastic script and so much forethought before they even yell action on day one of shooting. I rewatch The Wire and West Wing and The Office over and over again; not for any other reason except they're brilliant!
And I can tell you that this is one of the greatest TV episodes in the history of the medium. The episode title, topic, and shooting style are parallel each other. It's ingenious and funny and heartwarming and awkwardly cringe-worthy as well. Amazing!

Honestly, the episode just flew by! The energy was so good I didn't even check my phone once - rare these days. What really made it pop was the brilliant musical background that kept the rhythm going - gave me major La La Land vibes but in a workplace setting.
And can we talk about that filming? The way they shot it to feel like one continuous sequence from start to finish was incredible. It actually mirrors what the characters were trying to pull off in the episode itself - pretty clever touch.
Got that same addictive feeling I had when I first discovered the office years back. This show is definitely onto something special. Can't wait to see what happens in episode 3!

This is a perfect episode of television. The pacing, the writing, the acting and most of all...the cinematography! Funny, suspensful and perfectly executed. I wasn't sold on this show after the first episode but I am now!
This almost felt like a Seinfeld episode in the sense of something that seems so innocent and meaningless ends up coming back to haunt the characters in this story. Brilliantly written!
How they shot the episode is absolutely incredible. The cinematographer did an an outstanding simply from a lighting perspective. I can't imagine how difficult this was to film.
I'm very excited to see where this show goes next!

After the best show in years, Severance, just wrapped up its season on an all time high note, Apple TV comes back right away with what could be yet another generational tv show. With a star-studded and hilarious pilot, this show had me immediately hooked, yet somehow completely outdid themselves in this one. Seth Rogen's ability to callback (or bookend) everything that was previously setup throughout the episode made for constant building and paying off, with each moment of payoff making you laugh harder than the previous one. I loved the fact they were doing one shot per scene in the last episode, but this one they took it to a whole different level shooting the entire episode as a one shot (while the episode being about shooting a one shot helps add to the irony of the entire show). This one shot worked wonders in helping the chaotic moments feel crazier and making you feel as if you're on set experiencing this moment beside these characters. Just a brilliantly acted, shot, and especially written episode.

- TriviaDespite looking and feeling like one elongated shot, the episode was actually filmed in four chunks since production could only shoot for about 90 minutes a day. Plus, the cast and crew were only shooting during that magical, yet fickle sunset lighting.
- ErroresThey actually never recorded any clips on camera as the Clip on the monitor C002 is shown in every 'take'. The time on the Media did change though.
