It cannot be disputed that their best Season remains the first one. It had exemplary story, cast and suspense. Both the seasons after that have lacked suspense and lack of intrigue in the story. Season 3 kind of makes up for the poor casting in Season 2 and the impossible fight sequence in the final episode. Season 3 has a brilliant cast with Sonya Cassidy as a brilliant addition who has great chemistry with Reacher. The fight sequences in this episode were great though it was not clear how Reacher got the giant in the water(poor lighting). But overall a very satisfactory end to the Season which had good fights, cast but a threadbare plot.
Although this finale was head and shoulders above the awful season 2 finale, this was pretty mediocre.
The much anticipated fight with Paulie was thrilling at first but then went on too long and got really goofy and herein lies the problem with Reacher: the showrunners and writers allow themselves to go so over the top that the show loses any semblance of credibility. Sure, have the fistfights, gunfights etc. It's what we're here for but instead of ratcheting everything up to 11 try operating at 7 and that would make things less cartoony.
This season started off with some slow burn intrigue however slowly but surely the show couldn't get out of its own way. It doesn't to be this dumb to be entertaining.

I would struggle to think of another actor who was more born to play a part than Alan Ritchson was to play Reacher. His charisma and charm just bring the show to life. Plus it helps he's an absolute beast!
Where I thought season two lost its way somewhat, season three was right back on form and perhaps the best of the seasons so far.
Shows like this don't need overcomplicated storylines, just storylines that are gonna bring the best out of the character, which the series did. I'm already buzzing for season four, let's just hope they stick to the season three formula without trying to overcomplicate things.

Even though there are a few huge head-scratcher plot holes, I loved this episode. Everything from this season was wrapped up satisfactorily and with great fanfare. And, even though, the finale fight between Reacher & Pauli was telegraphed for several episodes it was a spectacular fight sequence that went on for the perfect amount of time. I mean, it was extended, to say the least. But right when I reached for the remote to fast-forward the fight was done. I really enjoyed season three-far more than season two. The only thing I disliked was the Duffy character, with that awful Boston accent, she-boss aggression and cross-eyed stare, I mostly fast-forwarded her scenes.
No spoilers here. You have action, lots of it. Anything you were anticipating to be wrapped up tidied up and got answered in this episode. In Reacher fashion, you have the big fight with a nemesis set up earlier in the season. Some of the ways Reacher gets out of it are more unreal, but hey, it's an action show and the show's going to go on. I feel like this is pretty good closure for this storyline. We get to see Neagley in action. You root for Reacher to come out on top. For the entertainment value and pretty decent storyline, this episode gets a 9 out of 10. Much better than Season 2 in my opinion.

- TriviaThe shotgun Reacher carries is a nod to the source book for season 3, Persuader. The shotgun is a Mossberg 500 Persuader 12-gauge.
- ErroresEveryone inside the house hears the gunshots from the barn, yet just a few minutes earlier they didn't hear any of the gunshots from the guardhouse's machine gun. The guardhouse is about the same distance from the house as the barn, and the machine gun in it is a Russian .50 caliber NSV 12.7x109mm, which is far louder than the 12 gauge shotgun Reacher was using in the barn, and would have easily been heard at the house, even over the sound of the music.
