The movie was amazing the plot was good, the camera angles were pretty good they enhanced the suspenseful vibe from the close-ups ( focus on the characters eyes , expressions ) was clearly to the point and the wide angle shots were clearly emphasising the vastness and isolation and when the ghostly figure was appearing it went to the low angle shot that was making the ghostly figure more imposing and threatening making ut seem larger than life , the high angle shots made the protagonist appear vulnerable and trapped. My focus on specific elements was the character's hands or the flickering lights they were amazing they added a sense of mystery. I loved the scene where the main character is waking up and they use a blurry effect to create a sense of disorientation and confusion.
Thoughts on cinematography : * Try experimenting with unconventional angles ( dutch or extreme close up) it will create a new visual.
* Utilise 60:40 rule ( 60% of the frame should be the dominant colour and 40% should be contrasting ) it'll create balance shots you can also divide the colours according to you ex-20:40:60 .
* Try to experiment w depth of field.
* For colour grading i would recommend to use colours to evoke emotions, and also consider a specific colour palette for your film that complements the overall mood and tone of the film.
* For acting imo the person was doing okay but in some scenes it seemed like he is forcing his expressions the performance kinda felt one dimensional.

The movie presents a compelling and deeply engaging exploration of the complexities surrounding schizophrenia, a topic often misunderstood and oversimplified in mainstream media. From the very beginning, the narrative lures the viewer into a psychological maze, where the line between reality and illusion blurs, creating a sense of unease and suspense. This clever approach immerses the audience in the protagonist's fragmented world, drawing attention to the internal struggles of someone living with a mental illness, while questioning perceptions of truth and sanity. Critics have lauded the film for its sensitive and thoughtful handling of such a delicate subject matter, acknowledging its ability to portray schizophrenia in a nuanced and humanizing light.
The film's unexpected conclusion is one of its most striking aspects. It subverts typical expectations, throwing the audience off guard and deepening the complexity of the narrative. Rather than following a predictable trajectory, the film's conclusion takes a daring turn, compelling viewers to rethink the entire story and its themes. The inclusion of schizophrenia as a central plot point elevates the narrative, providing it with an added layer of intrigue. Critics have highlighted how this unexpected shift in direction enhances the storytelling, as it forces the audience to question everything they have witnessed up until that point. This ability to disrupt expectations is an impressive feat, showcasing the filmmakers' ability to craft a genuinely original and thought-provoking narrative.
One of the standout elements of the film is its portrayal of the tenant, a character whose mysterious nature becomes increasingly central to the unfolding events. Initially introduced as a background figure, the tenant's role gradually expands, adding an element of excitement and intrigue to the story. Critics have praised this character for bringing depth to the narrative, with some suggesting that the tenant acts as a catalyst for the psychological unraveling of the protagonist. The film's ability to slowly peel back layers of the tenant's character keeps the audience on edge, wondering what secrets he might hold. This development, though subtle, is one of the movie's most effective plot devices, keeping the tension high and ensuring the film remains gripping throughout.
Despite the film's many strengths, there are some areas that critics have pointed out as weaknesses. While the handling of schizophrenia is generally praised for its authenticity and empathy, the film occasionally dips into familiar tropes that somewhat diminish its overall impact. In particular, the protagonist's journey can feel somewhat predictable at times, especially in moments that aim to showcase his internal struggle. Some critics feel that the film, despite its strong premise, occasionally resorts to clichés when depicting the protagonist's descent into madness, making certain parts of the narrative feel less fresh and innovative.
Additionally, the pacing of the movie has received mixed reviews. While many critics acknowledge the deliberate slow burn that allows the psychological tension to build, others argue that some sections of the film feel unnecessarily drawn out. In particular, certain scenes where the protagonist interacts with others could have been more tightly edited to maintain the flow of the film. The movie's deliberate pace may test the patience of some viewers, especially those who expect a faster-moving thriller or more conventional storytelling.
The character development, while strong in some areas, is also seen as a point of contention. Critics have highlighted that the protagonist, though well-portrayed, can sometimes come across as underdeveloped, particularly in the earlier parts of the film. While the narrative does a commendable job of showcasing his inner turmoil, some reviewers feel that his character arc could have been fleshed out more fully, with additional insight into his backstory and motivations. In contrast, the tenant's character, while initially mysterious, is allowed to grow and evolve in ways that keep the audience engaged. The imbalance in the development of these two characters is something that some critics felt could have been addressed to create a more cohesive and balanced narrative.
Despite these minor flaws, the film remains a remarkable achievement. The performances, particularly from the lead actor, have been widely praised for their emotional depth and authenticity. The film's exploration of mental illness, though not without its occasional missteps, is a vital contribution to the conversation surrounding mental health. It challenges preconceived notions and opens up space for more empathetic portrayals of complex psychological experiences. With its strong performances, unexpected twists, and thought-provoking themes, the film stands out as a powerful cinematic experience that will stay with audiences long after the credits roll.
