David Schade demonstrates that grit and determination, along with talent, make it possible for someone to live a life truly outside of the boundaries. The aspirations of the other jousters seem possible in light of his experience and expertise. This is not your "Medieval Times" dinner theater jousting; it's the real thing.

The footage of the Sherwood Forest Faire and funny commentary of faire owner George Appling provide context, especially for viewers not familiar with this lively and growing entertainment field. The production values are excellent; cinematography of the actual jousting gives the viewer a real sense of the sport.
