Excellent Film , People Complaining about the Length of this film for me are Nothing more then entertainment seekers who seeks things that entertainment them every milliseconds of their time , This Movie is A work of Art and will sure go down as the Perfect Assamese Film in The jollywood industry, And The Acting was top tier For me , Himagshu Gogoi Acted His Best in this film , He already was A Fantastic Actor and proved that he is too a great Actor , and the other actors Did well enough too , Casting Is a Very Positive Factor, Along with the Well written Story , When you are watching Gulai soor , you escape this reality and live the world of Gulai sur , Unfortunately this type of Amazing Film is Too good for our Assamese Audience, The south Mass Masala audience is large in Assam and Thus These types of masterpieces are left out unspoken , Well Made Film and 10/10 for me.
Starting was Good, very Captivating Story telling with Animation and BGM.
BUT, mid section was too slow, with unnecessary Plots here and there.
Ending was also not upto to the mark in comparison to the promising start, but surely a decent one time watch with enough funny scenes written intelligenly.
Film should've been atleast 30 minutes shorts, 2H24M is just a bit longer in today's standard.
Editor shouldn't get Panner today😄
Nothing to point out in Acting, everyone did a perfect job. Enjoyed seeing Legends of Assamese industry at their usual best here. We'll Miss you Jayanta Da🖤
p.s- in Putona scene of Rash one man can be seen using Mobile. It was there only for a second though.

This is really a boring n bekar movie, audiences expected something entertaining but it proved to be a lengthy Boring movie, the movie is slow, in many places, the movie needs to speed up by editing like South Movies. Plus cartoon drawing in the movie is a pathetic experience, next time I m not going to watch such movies, I felt like I should have immediately run out from the theatre, to safeguard myself from the torture, furthermore there ending of the movie have been made mysterious to align the public, the film failed to make the public, wear it shoes, I meant it failed to make the public feel that he inside the movie...
Growing up, we were captivated by timeless folk tales like Sindhi Diya Chor, Hati-Khujiya Bati, Ghorapak, and countless other stories woven into the fabric of Assamese traditions. These stories were more than just bedtime tales; they were an integral part of our childhood, shaping our imagination and understanding of Assamese folklore. Watching these narratives come alive on screen in Gulai Soor was an experience filled with nostalgia and pure joy. The film beautifully captures the essence of Assamese villages, bringing to life the stories that have been passed down for generations. One of the most striking aspects of Gulai Soor is its stunning cinematography, which paints a vivid picture of Assam's rural landscape. At the center of this beautifully crafted film is Himanshu Gogoi , who shines as Gulapi. Animation in Assamese cinema is a rarity, and Monikundal bora's work in this film is a testament to the creative possibilities that exist within the industry. Kudos to the entire team of Gulai Soor for bringing this beautiful film to life. It is a refreshing, heartfelt, and visually stunning cinematic experience that will be cherished by audiences for years to come.
