It is a terrific musical; its music has a good rhythm, and all the songs stay in your mind for a very long time. As a person who visited Paris for two days, honestly, it portrays perfectly the French reality. My favourite part is Marie Antoinette. Excellent musical. It deserves Golden Globes and Oscars Nominations, not only because of its music but also because of the great investigation about living in France and all the cast; it's obvious that there are no French people because the production couldn't find the extraordinary talent of this Mexican cast in France. It is a musical that you can't miss. You would love it.
Each song has a beautiful and deep meaning. More than a story, it's about a journey in search of love, home, but belonging above all.
Characters full of nuances; you understand the reason for their actions and their way of being.
The atmosphere is very theatrical, although sometimes some performances feel over the top.
This is moving and emotional musical film that pays homage to the very reality of France without any cliché nor stereotype while presenting a touching and entertaining cinematic experience. The performances along with the director's creative vision make this adaptation a masterpiece of the musical genre that touches the hearts and souls of its audience.
If you don't like musicals, honestly, you're missing out. When you've been there for a while, the songs take the place of the dialogue and immerse you in them.
Definitely a film you can't miss.

The perfect representation of France, this film is so powerful and the message is so deep and unique. The most hilarious part of this film is that everything was made in Mexico, so this is a perfect tribute to France. The music of this film is also great!!! I love the main song, it's in my head all day.
Everyone should see this masterpiece, I hope this film will be released all around the world and gets the recognition it deserves and all the awards! It would be hilarious if this film gets to the Cannes Film Festival, or gets nominated at the Golden Globes or the Oscars!!! Maybe next year, we all hope.

As someone who ate a croissant once I can't say anything more than this perfectly embrace all the culture of France in the most respectfully way possible, furthermore I'm happy that they haven't choose any french actor 'cause it is too obvious that mexican people are able to represent far better their culture, moreover I don't even think there are good french actors btw. If I have to tell my favourite scene it would definitely be the ones where the rats appear, and of course when Lady Bug made a cameo in the movie, this because they obviously don't have any character in all their history who represents all their history better than her.
If you want to dive into French culture in a fun and entertaining way, don't miss this short film that captures with so much love and respect the essence of what it is to be French.
You'll laugh, sing, dance and even cry with Johanne. You'll crave baguettes, croissants, smelly cheese and mustaches.
And of course the rats. Like a silent character that carries the emotional weight of the film, rats are these fundamental presence that gives Johanne Sacreblue an intimate feel. Rats and baguettes, rats and croissants, rats go well with everything, trust me.
This is what we needed to know 2025 will me a great year.

- TriviaIn its initial release, the short received three times as many views as Emilia Pérez (2024) in its own opening weekend in Mexico.
- ErroresTo mirror the pronunciation and spelling mistakes that plague the Spanish language and terminology in the spoofed film Emilia Pérez (2024), the French word "sacrebleu" is here misspelled as "sacreblue" in the opening credits.
