This was barely a Harley Quinn episode. It felt more like an advertisement for Superman.
Superman is the most boring superhero ever. That's why I was watching Harley Quinn, but I feel like like I have been tricked into watching an ad.
The ending was so rushed, the characters didn't even grab the Hyper-Ray. So logically, Metropolis and all the supervillains from Gotham, along with Bruce W would have remained shrunken. This could have been funny, or the plot for a good episode or two. But instead: a nonsense Superman scene with Superman having some odd powers that I don't recall him ever having.
Brainiac's conclusion also felt rushed, morose, and forced. This is more or less tonally consistent with the rest of this series, so it's overlookable. But as Brainiac was an interesting villain, it would have been nice to keep him around for a potential sixth season. The frequency of villains changing into anti-heroes and the reveal of heroes' dark sides is one best things about the Harley Quinn series and I think there was a lost potential with the Brainiac arc.
My imagination of how this episode could have ended is much more interesting, and I have spent only about seven minutes on it.
To be fair, I still loved about 60% or so of this episode. Harley Quinn is the best.
