Best episode yet 10/10 gunn don't jam the new universe of james gunn will beat any universe in term of quality if it continue like this anybody who is crying about multiverse and saying "multiverse fatigue"no you are not tired of the multiverse you are tired of bad multiverse representations and i love how every project of dcu so far have its own tone.
It's a fun episode but got a weird wipe through out. The Sasha character is so annoying and her acting is laughable at times.
Her monologue late in the episode was so staged that it affected my enjoyment completely.
Love the multiverse in the show despite being milked out by marvel it actually works here.

After last week's underwhelming filler episode, this episode returned the series back to engaging again. Everything in the alternate world is engaging from beginning to end and the action scene was intense and well-choreographed at a thrilling pace. Jennifer Holland does a superb job portraying the various emotional states of Harcourt showing she has range, David Denman did a good job at portraying a protective and loving older brother, and it was nice to see Judomaster back. However I still believe Vigilante is less funny this season and his jokes just don't land like they used to in Season 1. But overall a pretty solid, fun episode that will leave you wanting more from the alternate world and where it all leads.
...Somewhat. The interactivity between the characters is still stilted with comic banter that feels forced and awkward to a degree, and there are scenes in the B Story that bring things down from where the main story is going. For the most part though, I was hooked. Seeing Smith navigate through the other dimension and trying to blend it is amusing and interesting, and the surprise return is welcomed if you enjoyed their work in both Suicide Squad movies.
As the first season progressed, it became clear that Chris' struggles were rooted in the trauma of his brother's death. The second season builds on that foundation by posing a provocative counterfactual: what if that loss had never occurred? How would Chris' personality and choices differ, and what tensions emerge when someone shaped by grief is confronted with an alternate self untouched by it? It is a remarkably fertile premise, and "Peacemaker" embraces it with characteristic boldness. Under James Gunn's direction, the series not only deepens its integration into the broader DCU but also ventures further into the complexities of its protagonist's psyche, yielding fresh and compelling avenues of character exploration.
This season has ventured into more emotionally charged territory than the first, with Chris' personal growth and inner journey consistently placed at the center. The multiverse, rather than serving as mere spectacle, has been deployed as a narrative device that deepens this growth. In this episode, that thematic thread continues: Chris is afforded the opportunity to articulate long-suppressed feelings to Harcourt-even if only to an alternate version of her-and to share a resonant moment with his brother. These encounters not only reassert his profound regret over past events but also lay the groundwork for the dramatic resolution to come. The episode also offers substantial development for Harcourt. Within the primary timeline, her reluctance to pursue a relationship with Chris is granted greater weight, striking an emotional chord that clarifies her perspective. Jennifer Holland delivers her strongest work to date here, embodying two versions of the character with authenticity: one imbued with warmth, the other marked by cold restraint. The contrast underscores the complexity of Harcourt's characterization while highlighting Holland's versatility as a performer. The episode further distinguishes itself through its visceral action sequences, most notably in a set piece where Chris confronts a terrorist group occupying a building. The scene is both brutally violent and kinetically gripping, aligning with the series' established tone while reintroducing the spectacle that recent episodes have held in reserve. The result is a chapter that balances emotional intimacy with high-stakes action, reaffirming the show's capacity to fuse grit, character work, and genre thrills into a compelling whole.
"Another Rick Up My Sleeve" emerges as another successful installment in a series that continues to raise its emotional stakes with surprising depth and sincerity. The episode provides meaningful development for both Chris and Harcourt, while giving Jennifer Holland the opportunity to deliver her most nuanced and wide-ranging performance to date. The result is a gritty and innovative chapter that underscores the show's growing capacity for emotional resonance alongside its genre thrills.

- TriviaWhen Chris wants to meet with the alternate Emilia Harcourt at ARGUS, Keith tells him to take his "Peace-Cycle". Stored in the garage, the "Peace-Cycle" is an armed red, white and blue motorcycle, bringing to mind DC Comics' classic Bat-Cycle, though perhaps a better parallel would be Captain America's motorcycle.
- Créditos curiososThe post-credits scene in this episode show Adrian steal a pair of pants he takes off of John who is sound asleep in the tub.
