I love this cozy dating show. I feel so bad for some of the singles because they seem to be put on the show and not shown how to handle certain situations.
Also showing more of the makeover/getting prepared for the show would have made it a bit more exciting, the start of the show I was confused what was going on but once I figured it out I couldn't stop watching!

If you have enjoyed titles like single inferno , nineteen two twenty then this is going to be alot of fun. It has everything from friendship to intense scenes to great panels of judges . It a great fun to watch . Must reccomanded if you are into Korean reality shows. Have given me a great time and binged watched alot of it.
Better Late Than Single had potential. Dating in your 30s is a fresh premise-but instead of giving us something authentic, we get yet another overproduced Korean "reality" show where the only thing real is how fake it all feels.
The producers push manufactured love triangles with eye-rollingly contrived scenarios, dragging out fake tension that clearly only exists in the editing room. You can tell the writers cooked up story arcs before casting, and then just shoehorned actual people into roles-Jeong-mok as the "lead," Sang-ho as the "comic relief," and so on. It's less reality, more a C-tier drama with zero acting budget.
This kind of manipulation is par for the course in Korean reality TV, where "writers" essentially direct participants like actors while pretending it's all organic. These writers need to be fired-or at least, the industry needs to stop pretending this is unscripted content. Either embrace that it's a drama, or start producing actual reality shows that trust the viewers' intelligence.

This show is the first reality live show to me that is genuine the people are genuine and nothing feels forced I love it soo much and ughh i can't wait to see the couples at the end TO ANYONE WHOS THINKING OF WATCHING DO IT.
One for thing just know these people will egt you frustrated and the edge of your seat confused they are so awkward and act in the most random ways at times but it's so rewarding see them grow and the love situation right now is so nice and the people are just amazing kind people too.
I'm just rambling now to pass the char yer limit but please watch this show it's so nice and refreshing conpared to bad stuff like love island, temptation island and Lal those fake and forced with prize money shows this is genuine.

I liked how clean and innocent this show is (compared to other dating shows) and how thoughtful and introspective many of the characters are; however, there are definitely some improvements that I hope they implement for any subsequent seasons.
The transformations and coaching in the beginning were nice, but as another reviewer mentioned, the coaching and/or counseling should have continued - even if it was only one check-in at the midway point. It was painful to watch some of the contestants unnecessarily floundering.
The timeline should be a little longer. One week is far too short for 12 people (6 men and 6 women) to interact meaningfully with everyone else - at least in its current format. While allowing contestants to pick who they want to date initially and maybe toward the end could be fine, for people who've (allegedly) never dated before, it would be better to have everyone go on solo dates with all of their options to get a better sense of each person and to give everyone a fair chance. That would help out some of the more introverted and/or socially awkward people who might not get picked otherwise.
Only about half of the contestants were given much airtime for most of the show. The other half were barely shown (especially the latecomers). It made those contestants seem pointless.
Overall, it was interesting enough to watch and finish (although I was fast-forwarding at the end), but with a few tweaks, it could be much better.
