As we get entangled in city life, we forget to live our life and divert away from its purpose. Mitti succeeds in showing how one can achieve a goal even in small towns and villages.
Mitti is 8 episode web series that tells the story of Raghav who visits his village after his grandfather passes away. Things turn topy-turvy when he realises that his grandfather owes 15 lakhs to set up farming. Raghav takes up the challenge to pursue his grandfather's dream and he realises his potential and path to self-discovery.
Beautifully directed and superbly acted, Mitti raises several questions for the viewers - Do we need to leave our parents and seek opportunity away from them, letting them live at the behest of others? Do we really need to run a rat race going now where? Do we really need to follow what others are doing or just enjoy what you are best at? It is easier said than done but it takes guts, risk and the right intention to make it big. Mitti also shows that without failure and struggle, you will never know what your heart wants and this is where Mitti scores. It succeeds in taking a realistic approach of what is happening in India - young people exploring tons of opportunities and even nailing it to the core.
Hats off to the director, writer and actors for making us believe that life is best enjoyed when you follow your passion. The web series also brings out the value of Indian tradition and culture.

If Swades was a film about returning from America to rediscover roots, this series is about coming back to Mumbai - and realizing you may have never truly left home at all. For Raghav, the stakes are just as high as they were for Mohan. But unlike Swades, this is not a cinematic dream wrapped in nostalgia - it's a series soaked in realism, where being constantly connected through phones and social media has made us take our families, our soil, and our past for granted.
Raghav's journey back to his Dadaji is not just emotional - it's eye-opening. It's about rediscovering value in the ordinary, the forgotten, and the hard-earned. As a series, it has the time and space to explore deeply the many layered challenges of a wannabe farmer. From bureaucratic hurdles to climate unpredictability, from the burden of legacy to the struggle of relevance - it handles each with honesty and depth.
This story inspires. It teaches. It underlines the importance of sacrifice, of grit, of staying rooted while dreaming big. It's a must-watch for anyone who's left a small town for the lure of big-city success. And above all, it reminds us of the everyday heroism of our farmers - and the vast, untapped opportunity for science and AI to make their lives better.

It is a wonderful series. You can watch it with your family members without getting embarrassed. Ishwak singh is a delight to watch. Ending feels a bit abrupt but still satisfying.... I wish they are planning next season.
Story is gripping faaltu Rona dhona nahi hai. Everybody is good in their own character. Worth your time. Zyada characters nahi hai. Limited characters with good background.
It is different than panchayat and other tvf dramas. Rural India is not always a laughing stock for urban people.....this series shows it very Well. I have a farming land ...I am a doctor but in future will do farming without any expectations of success...

Mitti isn't just a series, it's an emotional journey from soil to soul. Following Raghav's return to his ancestral village, the show blends tradition with modern farming in a way that's inspiring, thought-provoking, and deeply connected to our everyday reality.
With powerful performances, a gripping storyline, and a sincere portrayal of rural India, Mitti redefines what it means to grow, both crops and character. It highlights the resistance to change, the importance of staying rooted, and the untapped potential in India's heartland.
Some character arcs feel unfinished, leaving you wishing for more closure, but maybe that's just a sign we need a Season 2.
A must-watch. Honest, heartfelt, and refreshingly different.

Mitti (MX Player) is a gripping series that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The story is raw, emotional, and grounded in realism, capturing the essence of rural life and human struggles. Every character delivers a solid performance, but Kritika (played by Shruti Sharma) truly shines with her natural, intense acting and screen presence. The direction, background score, and screenplay are top-notch, enhancing the emotional impact. Strong dialogues and a well-paced narrative keep the tension alive. A must-watch for fans of socially relevant and powerful storytelling with an outstanding ensemble cast, heartfelt moments, and meaningful depth.
