Let's Play

I'm going to try to keep away from any spoilers. That's my biggest task. Anyway, this episode, "Let's Play" wasn't bad, it was more a case of it being preposterous. And contrary to what people may think, this type of episode is actually easy to write, especially if the author is allowed to go into the ridiculous. I mean... wait, hang on, the "a" on my keyboard suddenly got hard to push while the "d" became easier to push. I noticed it happened at 6 minutes after the hour. Okay, a word that starts with "a" and ends with "d" and is six letters... "absurd", of course. "Let's Play" is absurd. On the other hand, I still prefer it to "Gilligan" reruns.

High Potential, a popular TV series, has been known for its cliffhangers and endings that leave audiences mystified. The series' freshman season kept things tense, but the final case of the season was an abrupt dive into the deep end. The protagonist, Oz, is a sick individual who targets a grief support group. Despite the show's incredible writing and plotting, it fell short in focusing on any character other than Morgan. One of the nicest guys at the precinct, Oz, made it out of the finale alive, possibly lighter for it. Oz's story adds a weight that no one, except Daphne, was aware of, explaining why he and his team are so close. Ironically, Miss Gillory is experiencing something similar herself. The writers may have found a way to make it work in an exciting way. The heartwarming reunion that will hopefully come is yet to be seen. The show's plotting is impressive, with tension palpable and characters feeling like they were going to jump off the screen at any moment. The perfect finale is achieved by raising the stakes and expanding the in-story world, giving audiences more than just a cliffhanger; they get the anticipation of seeing a story they already know in a new and bigger universe with possibilities - both good and bad. In High Potential Season 1 Episode 13, "Let's Play," Morgan and Karadec are the main characters. Karadec is worried about Morgan's dealings with Gio, a criminal who is not trustworthy. He knows that Morgan loses focus when it comes to someone he cares about, and she will do everything possible to get the truth about Roman. Despite Morgan reassured him that he won't trust Gio, Karadec still worries and promises to have Morgan's back. The intrinsic trust between them is amazing. For example, when Karadec asks Morgan about her father, she opens up about it, knowing that he will support her. At the gala, Karadec gasps when he sees her, but it's real. He relaxes, smiles, and emotionally open, almost as if Morgan had cast a spell on him by showing up in that dress. Karadec asks Morgan to dance, and he remembers the beginning of their partnership. He loves that Morgan changed his life and wants to let him handle Gio. He asks her to care for him, but Morgan hesitates, wanting to be left out. Gio doesn't deal with police, and it's hard for her to give up control for the first time. In the end, Morgan trusts Karadec to take care of everything, and he promises to do so. When Tom shows up, Karadec shuts down again, emotionally distances himself from Morgan, feeling jealous, and lets her walk away from his arms.

In conclusion, High Potential's finale leaves audiences mystified by the story and the characters, leaving them eager to see the heartwarming reunion that will hopefully come.

(apologize for poor review, but i just wanted to make one anyways lol) I loved watching the lead solve the clues and the twists in the episode. I loved the pacing of the show and the balance w the comedy and seriousness w the characters. I liked the use of the games. The doll scene was clever really appreciating the creativity and incorporating different versions of the game from other countries ! It wasn't a simple episode, but i love how easy it is to follow along. There's not too much storylines that get you confused. The episode manages to pull you in and was intense enough but not going overboard , still being their show, their vibes, just a switch up to make season finale unique !! It was fun to watch, James Roday did a great job directing !!!

There were a few times in this episode where I was laughing out loud at how cliche and stereo-typed some of the dialogue was. The clues may border on ridiculous, but the series delivers on likeable characters, personal back-story relevance and cliff hanger heaven!

The story-line moved along well and set the viewers up to want to come back and see the "play time" bad guy beaten at his own game once and for all.

This episode showed some "high potential" and ultimately delivered with an ending that threw all of the tensions together in one mind blowing cliff hanger. Totally love the show and can't wait to see the next episode.

You may want to become a cop or a police department cleaning person after watching this series. Avoid any impulse to go into any medical field if you saw how diabetes was portrayed in this episode. Nothing in this episode that intersected with the disease was accurate.

Blood glucose levels (bsg) are managed with carbohydrates and insulin. If you are low bsg, you ingest carbs to bring up the number. If you are high, you take insulin to bring them down.

If you are trained in the use, you can perform a finger prick and measure the bsg. FYI: most bsg meters will guide you through the process. It isn't complicated or risky.

Why tv shows continue to do this infuriates the 10% of Americans with diabetes and the multiples of people who know them and care for and about them.
