I don't understand where the hate comes from. This show was explicit about its unserious form from the first episode it is a mix of top-notch action and well-done comedy combined together. For me so far as the episodes progress, the show consistently becomes better in terms of story and plot, with new characters being unveiled which adds more mystery. To try to figure out why all this hate exists, I read the manga first chapters up to this episode to see what horrible atrocities or absurd decisions had been made. To my surprise, the show portrays the atmosphere and events much better. It also handles characters features, some jokes, and certain comments more effectively. On the other hand, the manga's drawing style in the first chapters, up to now, lacks detail and refinement. I also wondered if the hate stems from the changes in the story or details compared to the manga. Again, there haven't been any major changes- just tiny alterations that are easily overlooked, such as some unrelated comments from characters, among others things, which usually happen in any manga adaptations. For example, when Shin and Sakamoto first met Lou, she was wearing Chinese clothes, but after joining Sakamoto's shop, she changed into the same clothes she wears in the show. The bottom line is that the show is great and hilarious, as intended by the mangaka I believe, and the hate is unwarranted. The show has been breaking records in Netflix and other platforms in terms of viewership and it will continue so instead of being blatantly hateful just appreciate that it is a good adaptation and enjoy the show.
