Where is Jalen? And when did this become the Lt. Brady Show? This lieutenant has taken over the entire show! She does the interviews now. She's instantaneously at all the crime scenes. She's in the police cars..even driving the cops around. She's in the field chasing the bad guys. She does all the work of the cops...answers everyone's questions. Leaps tall buildings. Pretty soon she'll be donning robes and taking over the judges role in the trials. Between her taking over the entire show...put into every scene ....and the constantly whining ADA...this one terrific show has become unwatchable. Please bring Jalen back....put the Lieutenant back in the precinct and get the ADA to stop whining. Please! What has happened to this once fine show?
Starting with the female ada. All she does is whine whenever a female defendant is charged. Price isn't any better, he's a bully and will do anything moral or immoral to win a case.
I've seen every single episode from the beginning and this prosecutorial team is the worse yet.
Price isn't Jack McCoy no matter what they want you to think, he has won cases he should have lost hands town.
I'm about ready to stop watching until they change characters. The show used to present both sides now it's a feminist leaning show just as SUV is with that joke of a lead character. Bring back criminal Intent with the original cast and watch what law and order is supposed to be like.

I have been a L&O fan since the beginning-all the years. I have watched every episode multiple times. These 2 ADAs are the absolute worst. Have these writers of the reboot never seen the originals? I know Dick Wolf is still in charge, which makes it even more sad. Where was the psychiatrist on the stand testifying to what the husband said and that he ripped up the scrip? No medical professionals discussing PPP? No cross on the husband when he was calling his wife selfish? Where are the closing arguments? How can you end a trial with no Closings? The closings are the best part. McCoy and Cutter would have nailed the husband and said how he was willing to sacrifice his daughter's mental health to win. How the husband had the chance to stop it and he didn't. How he threatened to divorce her. I keep waiting for this show to get better but it's not. I can't stand Price, but Maroun is worse. McCoy would have fired her by now. Branch fired Serena for being too emotional and she never acted this way. Maroun needs to go.
For the first time in the 24 seasons of watching every episode of Law and Order, this was the WORST.
I was going to switch off, but old habits die hard.
I am so over Sam, but Price was also annoying.
If these were real life characters, they would be dismissed from their jobs.
She, because she is in complete contradiction of what the DA's office stands for and he, because he is so weak.
Their strategy changes with the wind.
I am just not sure what is going on.
Have the writers run out of stories?
Do they need to get a new team?
Law and Order the original is still my favourite, but this season has been somewhat disappointing.

I am going to guess the reviewers who posted negative remarks don't know anyone who suffered from postpartum depression or psychosis. I do know people who suffered from this. Without a supportive spouse and meds, they would no longer be here.
Whether or not I like the deputy or assistant ada is irrelevant. I hope this episode causes people to open their minds and be considerate of what can cause suffering for others. The idea of prosecuting an unsupportive spouse is a stretch but deserves consideration in appropriate situations. Personally, I thought the verdict sucked. And I hope his daughters survive his parenting as they try to cope with the loss of their sister and their mother.

- TriviaAnother "ripped from the headlines" episode based on recent cases of mothers suffering from, or allegedly suffering from, postpartum psychosis that wound up killing their own children. The most recent case in the headlines is that of Lindsay Clancy, a 34 year old woman from Duxbury, Massachusetts who was a registered nurse that worked in the maternity ward at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a mother of three children: a 5-year old girl named Cora, a 3-year old boy named Dawson and a 8-month old boy named Callan. On the evening of January 24, 2023 police and paramedics were called to Clancy's house after she had strangled all three of them to death, and then attempted suicide by jumping out of a second-story window, she survived the fall but broke her spinal column and is paralyzed from the waist down. Clancy had been suffering from postpartum depression, and had been receiving treatment in the form of therapy and medication from both a psychiatrist, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Mental health experts, hired by Clancy's attorney, believe she was suffering from postpartum psychosis, a rare complication of postpartum depression, in part due to overmedication, as she had been prescribed 13 different antidepressants & anti-anxiety medications in the four months prior to the killings. She had also been admitted to the McLean Psychiatric Hospital three weeks prior to the killings due to suicidal thoughts, possibly due to medication interactions. The Plymouth County District Attorney's office has charged Clancy with three counts of strangulation, three counts of aggravated assault and battery, and two counts of murder in the first degree. If convicted of the murder charges she would face an automatic sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole; Clancy has entered a plea of not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. In December of 2024 the court determined that Clancy had recovered sufficiently to be declared competent to stand trial, and a trial date was set for December 1, 2025.
