Again, this series is great to watch. It is calming and uplifting. There are so many different personality types who are invited on the show.
As I continue to watch the series, I realise how every guest gives their extra touch of personality to the episode and we get to learn more about them in relation to their environment and to food for example, and at the same Meghan is also learning from her peers. It's so fun to watch, and I can't stop saying this! It's never boring because we see different personality types on the show in every episode and that's so refreshing. Therefore, every show is very different in that regard. Nothing is prepared in advance, guests show up and from there it's improv. I'm enjoying it very much.
I wish I had that view in Montecito though!

I love everything about this show. I love the set, the house is decorated in my taste, I like the cookware Meghan is using. I like the overall vibe of the show, I spend my Sunday bingewatching the first season, and thankfully, it will be another. I like the romantizing everyday life, little details that make everyone feel good. And I don't like much of a cooking shows but Meghan recipes are easy and dooable for everyone. And Meghan packed a lot in every episode, and every episode was so aesthetically pleasing, as so is Meghan herself. She is a delight, beautiful, gracious and I didn't see one time she was wearing something that I didn't wanted to wear. She is so simple and elegant. I would like more of beauty tips&tricks and lifestyle in new season.

Was cool to see these two kids from LA reminiscing, sharing stories and more. It's nice to see the genuine curiosity she has about food and cultures. And that's she down to jump in and relay her reviews and impressions without changing herself. Also, great to see them giving over music from the 90's and the best places to get doughnuts. We still love a pink box of Magee's but it always depends on the person. But real talk, give this show a chance and step into your soft era. We could all use a bit of softness in this heavy heavy world. Lean in and see how your world softens. Highly recommended.
Chef Roy Choi, best known for revolutionizing the food truck scene with his Korean-Mexican fusion tacos, brought so much warmth, humor, and authenticity.
While cooking, he and Meghan had such a great dynamic, chatting about their childhoods in LA and discovering the unexpected similarities in their upbringings.
The fried chicken looked insanely good-golden, crispy, and mouthwatering. And Roy? He's hilarious. One of the best moments was when he casually dropped that he listens to speed and death metal.
Beyond his incredible food, Roy has always been about making great meals accessible to everyone, and that energy really came through in this episode.
This is a visually stunning and heartwarming show, perfect for anyone who loves finding beauty in small moments and romanticizing life. This episode left me smiling from start to finish!

Recipes are very much doable by anyone. It is not intimidating.
I love donuts but I want to cut on fried goods. There is a baked donuts recipe that I want to try. I discovered chef Roi and he comes out as relatable, down to earth and very real person. Meghan is also so her authentic self in that episode. You can see that she loves chef Roi's work. Great watch.
The behind the scenes are very informative. Meghan acts as a sous-chef for chef Roi's. And we have the chance to see the prep work she was sent ahead of the cooking day.
The playlist is amazing a lot of throw back songs I used to listen when I was young that became standards in the American culture.
