Fabulously produced mini series, real in depth look at independent whisky in Scotland. Got to see the preview at Leith theatre and was very interesting and humorous.

Great for any whisky fan to watch as gives a true look at indy bottlers with most of the well established businesses represented very well.

As someone that is really interested in the Scotch Whisky industry as a whole and mainly a hobbies, found it really informative and gave a massive insight into the industry which you would not know unless you were part of it.

Would highly recommend and have been recommending to friends all over the world.

Fantastic insight into the world of Independent Whisky Bottlers and their togetherness with each other, which is all there for you to see. Enjoy this remarkable journey into the history from Gordon and MacPhail right up to the new boys like Thompson Bros and North Star. It is a superb documentary from start to finish, loved every minute, highly recommended!!

Whether you love whisky or have no connection yet with the drink or industry, this film captures the essence and spirit of the Independents' who bring so much authenticity to a global community connected by a drink that is inspiring to millions of people across the world.

The team really but some leaves on those branches, to help give the inspirations and insights that drive people to become indie bottlers.

Not only does the film allow the viewer to learn about how indie bottlers work and help each other, it also blows off those cobwebs of the stereotypes who both work in the spirits industry, who create fantastic bottlings and of course enjoy sharing a fabulous dram with great company.

Very interesting view on the people involved in shaping the independent whisky world and their relationships with each other and the big corporations that produce the spirit.

It introduces the viewer to the leading contributors from the major players in this branch of the whisky industry.

Some of the independent bottling companies that have been around for decades are interviewed along with some very new businesses to provide the full spectrum of views on the process of buying, selling, trading, storing, re-racking, finishing, and bottling whisky.

Without these businesses we will not can a chance to taste variations from the standard official bottlings.

Enjoyed all 4 sections which give you the ideas and experiences of what it like to be an Independent bottler of whisky. It also brings perspective views of other people in the industry. Not to be missed as an important addition to the history of the spirit. The filming of views of Scotland add texture to the film for enjoyment. So many independent bottlers were interviewed you begin to see how much love there is out there for single malt whisky and others. The Water of Life Filmsvhad continued their great voyage into the world of whisky. I would recommend watching each episode on its own and do some research into the stories told. Slainte!
