The film deftly balances comedy with emotional resonance. Viewers get a taste of pandemic-era desperation, but through scenarios that range from outré to laugh-out-loud surreal-like job attempts in an underground club, dodging bullets while helping with the census, or entering a high-stakes poker game. High adventure funny and on going action keeps you on your toes.

This movie was a lot of fun. The story of a couple of roommates who work in the service industry trying to make ends meet during the lockdown went in a lot of unexpected directions that had me giggling during several scenes. It's always a real treat when jokes land in indie films. Lead actors started off a little bit slow, but as the movie started gaining momentum, their characterizations and acting got a lot better, and many of the characters were well portrayed. A great way to spend an evening if you're looking for a light-hearted romp. Kudos to writer Robert Simmons for an unexpectedly good time!

Needless to say that I had, of course, never even heard about this 2025 comedy titled "15 Days" prior to stumbling upon it by random chance. And with it being a movie that I had never seen, nor actually heard about, of course I opted to check out and see what writer and director Robert James had to offer.

The storyline in the movie was pretty straightforward. But for a comedy, I have to say that the narrative was rather devoid of comedy.

While I was not familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list, it was actually something that spoke in favor of the movie. I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances in "15 Days" were fair.

I suppose "15 Days" is watchable, provided you have nothing better at hand. But this is definitely not a movie that I would recommend you to go out of your way to get to watch. Nor is it a movie that will ever grace my screen a second time, as I struggled to finish it the first time around.

If this were a story about two friends who made ends meet by utilizing their skill sets, it perhaps could have gone somewhere. There was nothing funny or thrilling about the situations that the two barely attractive main characters faced.

I'm not knocking the fact that this is a low budget endeavor- I often give leeway to such movies. I'm criticizing how stupid the script was and how no rational person would be entertained by it. The first few reviews on here probably were supplemented by Chat GPT.
