Court dramas should hold the audiance together and should actually make them clueless on the next scene. Archana Jois has done well and also the kid.. It felt as if Ajai started the movie with a vision in mind but execution has just been flat.. Still giving 3 stars only for the efforts of the team. Else this would get a solid "0" from me..
@Ajai Rao : Please consider only acting.. This movie was not for you.. Your overacting killed it all..
If we sum it up, the movie could end in 20 mins.. Unnecessarily it has been dragged. Sad to see a kannada movie of this standard. Need to grow up and execute a better subject.

Movie had good plot. They had nice intentions. But poor screenplay and worst possible acting by Ajai Rao has ruined everything. This movie showed why he is not even Tier-2 actor in KFI. Last 10-15 minutes, where Ajai Rao tries to imitate actors like Shahrukh Khan has completely misfired. No doubt, movie had good story but director and writers have made a mess of it. Ajai Rao has to improve his acting and dialogue delivery. But other actors like Prakash Belavadi and Archana jois have done well. It is strictly 1 time watch barring last 10-15 minutes. Ajai Rao is only fit to act in Krishna series as a lover boy.
This is one the poor script and a terrible story line I've seen in the recent times. We are currently in an era where Kannada movies are loved and enjoyed in other states as well. So as an audience the expectations would be higher. But this movie just ruins it. With cringe acting and cliched dialog, it just makes it impossible to sit through the entire. The movie starts off well with a good prologue and subject of the movie is made clear very early in the movie, which also raises an expectation on the movie. Just within 20-30 mins the plot starts deviating and looses the story. Somewhere I believe the script writers themselves were confused. "In the opening statement, Bharath mentions that the kid couldn't write this year's exams as she was in the hospital. But in the very same statement he mentions that case has been proceeding for over 2 years now. I mean how confusing is that. And there have couple more instances like this which put me off completely. And to make it more annoying is the cringe acting by each and every cast. I've honestly appreciate the cast's acting in their previous movies, but they were a totally different actors in this movie. Showcases poor directing as well.
All over a complete waste of my time and hugely disappointed as a Kannada audience and Kannadiga. I'm surprised to see that it managed to stay in theatres for that long. I guess the cheap gimmicks worked out!! 😅

The director's meticulous efforts truly captured the film's core message, resonating deeply with its intended theme. However, the overall experience felt slightly understated due to a subtle shortage of traditional "feel-good" elements. Nevertheless, the clarity with which the movie's central intent was conveyed remains a significant strength, leaving a strong impression. Ajay Rao, as expected, delivered a performance that perfectly encapsulated his character, upholding his usual standard. Conversely, the supporting cast's portrayals could have been more impactful, failing to fully elevate the narrative. Incorporating additional layers of entertainment would have undeniably enriched the viewing experience, adding a much-needed dimension to the production.
Yuddhakanda starts on a positive note. The acting by most of the cast was genuinely good, and the story itself was engaging. For the most part, it was watchable and held my attention, though some parts felt predictable.
Archana Jois stood out with her natural and praiseworthy performance as a depressed mother. Her portrayal was subtle and emotionally resonant, adding depth to the narrative.
However, what ultimately ruined the movie for me was the overacting by the main character. His performance felt exaggerated and unnatural throughout, and instead of adding emotional weight, it made several scenes difficult to take seriously. The final monologue, in particular, was so cringeworthy that I almost skipped the last 5-10 minutes of the film.
With more restrained and grounded acting from the lead, this movie could have reached a whole new level. Unfortunately, the over-the-top performance diminished what could have been a much more impactful film.
