Deceptively simple, emotionally devastating
Ghich Pich is about identity formation in the shadow of familial expectation. It explores the conflict between personal ambition and inherited duty with such gentle precision that it almost passes by unnoticed-until the credits roll and you realize you've been holding your breath. The mise-en-scène is brilliant. The tight spaces emphasize emotional claustrophobia. It reminded me of Room (without the horror), in how setting becomes character. The final frame lingers like a question you can't shake.
