Da On takes Jae Min to the hospital, nearly missing Seong Hyeon, but once he's there, they have a misunderstanding. The next day, Seong Hyeon calls in sick and Da On goes to him, but Seong Hyeon tells him that he regrets waiting for him and clinging to him. He doesn't give Da On a chance to explain. At work, Da On gets gossiped about as a nepo hire because he and Director Kim Su Hyeon went to the same university, and it's revealed that Su Hyeon rejected a bid because of their past relationship. As Da On and Seong Hyeon get ready for their resort bid presentation, Da On gets a phone call to meet Jae Min in the basement parking lot, where someone kidnaps him.
