Short but sharp
Another short that feels like a scene cut from a longer film or a TV episode, A Woman Scorned takes place during a police interrogation. Like many others from this director, this short was produced for an acting school as part of a talent launch bootcamp. Naturally, the focus is on the performances - and they're strong across the board. The story is compelling, too. A murder interrogation where it's impossible to tell who's lying more - the suspect or the cops, who are legally allowed to deceive to push for a confession. I'd love to see what happens next.
