Twisted Metal S02E03 was a letdown after a strong starting season. The show's signature edgy, chaotic vibe got lost in a messy, unfocused plot. Characters felt inconsistent, and the pacing dragged. Season 1's gritty charm and sharp humor are sorely missed. I hope future episodes recapture what made the series great initially.

I really liked the first season. Quiet felt authentic, real and believable. They even managed to give a mask wearing psychopath a couple of genuine heart moments. However, these first 3 episodes completely ruined everything the first season built up. The dolls are a completely garbage addition to the show. The back story of how they came to be is laughable bad, actually insulting. Axel is a cool addition. But can't have a good thing without crapping on it. Seeing Axel's "creator" tripping over him after being called racist was by far a Bridge to far. The absurdest nature of the show is gone, in favor of a 2022-2024 culture. Frankly, I'm surprised they didn't make Calypso wear a orange wig and spray tan. You know, for subtlety.
