Graduation

Quality of acting and plot development plummets. Never wrote a review before, but I had to cause it's so bad.

The lack of development and 3 seasons using the same 3-4 scenes, just screams that they're trying to save money and it really hurts the overall quality. The idea of this series by Stephen king is awesome, but really badly portrayed and overall executed.

Right Ep 3 now rolls around, and if the last episode was a leisurely stroll, this one's a bit more of a brisk walk, albeit with a few ominous shadows lurking. The narrative's certainly picking up the pace, with young Luke's escape plot really starting to get its ducks in a row.

We're diving deeper into the grim realities of the Institute's "Back Half," and it's all rather unsettling, proper chilling stuff that. The merging of Tim Jamieson's local shenanigans with the kids' plight is finally taking shape, which is a welcome sight. The new kid, Avery, and his burgeoning powers are a promising a bit of a shake-up.

While some might feel it's whizzing through the source material a tad quickly, for us uninitiated, it's a compelling watch. It's less about lingering and more about pushing the plot forward, keeping you on the edge of your seat. A solid effort that deepens the mystery and leaves you eager for more of the grim revelations.

Rating: 8.5/10 - A pivotal chapter that ramps up the tension and moves the pieces nicely across the board. Spot on.
