Perfectly done. Everything was done absolutely perfectly, definitely has the potential to be better than the best seasons of the original series. So great they brought Clyde Phillips back because it seems like he is a very good writer. It's very well written. There is a new character Blessing Kamara who is a very nice character to see. Lovely to see some of the OG character's back (I will not spoil who though). Harrison is a now became an incredibly likeable character, not like how he was in New Blood, but he isn't aware of Dexter's whereabouts and may switch up when he sees him again, I am not sure. I am looking forward for the other episodes, I like how they are once a week so I do not watch everything in 2 days. Very well done to the writers, film crew, producers, actors, anyone else I missed out because this seems like it will be a great piece of television. Please make it 4-5 seasons I want to see at least 50 episodes. People may say "Dexter is being dragged". IT IS NOT. The amount of potential this show has is insane, it's different to the main show, but similar at the same time if you get my drift. I hope Dexter finally gets a happy ending, I mean i hope it doesn't end at all to be honest. But overall a very very VERY good episode 3, same with the other 2 episodes.
Once again, as with the first two episodes, I'm struck by how much the fun and the funny are back. Perhaps because they were so lacking in the dreadful 'New Blood.'
Even Michael C. Hall seems to be having a much better time-I know Dexter is!
So far, so good, no extremely annoying Deb (Jennifer Carpenter). Instead, we get a lot of screen time from the very enjoyable Harry (James Remar). Even Jack Alcott (Harrison), whom I could not stand in 'New Blood,' is born-again watchable. Newcomer Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (Blessing Kamara) is a delight. The only clunker is Kadia Sarah (Det. Claudette Wallace). The character is something out of a Russian spy movie and would never, ever be a NYC detective. Unfortunately, the actress is as annoying as the character.
Then, when it couldn't get any better, we take a trip back to Miami and meet up with Angel (David Zayas), Quinn (Desmond Harrington) and Masuka (C. S. Lee).

In this episode, he really shined and got the hang of using his own name. I think he did well. He will meet new serial killers and I wonder what will happen. I hope it will be very good this season. I liked this Dexter series, it is very good actually. But Dexter is an iconic series, they are doing a great job, I am waiting for it too, when will Brain Moser come out, there will be 1 or 2 episodes, it will be 1 hour full with Dexter.

I tried the last two versions, not for me. New Blood probably should be watched if you're going to watch this one, but it's not really necessary. Dex has a kid, he follows him, the kid shot him, he didn't die. That's about all anyone need know from New Blood. It was tough to watch. Not true Dexter in the way fans of the original enjoyed him. Original Sin didn't work for me either. Rehashing characters as younger versions after they did most of it in flashbacks on the Original felt like a waste. BUT This??? This is a revival for the ages. Imagine GOT after Jon Snow came back, but the show got better. So far, so great. The build up is phenomenal. And the return characters??? I actually screamed when I saw who's coming back. The last time I had this high of anticipation of waiting till next week for a show to come on was the Original. Keep up the good work. See you Sunday!!!

- TriviaDexter uses the name Dr Patrick Bateman to receive the M99 - Etorphine - from another doctor. In American Psycho, Dr Patrick Bateman (played by Christian Bale) is a banking executive who hides his alternate psychopathic ego and serial killer tendencies from the outside world.
- ErroresDexter refers to Ronald Schmidt as "Red" before entering Schmidt's apartment and before anyone has said the nickname to him. There is no scene showing Dexter learning this information from any source, making it unclear how he could know the nickname at that point in the story.
