When watching a horror film in Cinema I expect to be scared, maybe not leave a scaring impact on me for days but at least in the move... The VFX was not really impressing, better editing can even be done by YouTubers. But overall not a bad choice, this was the first Pakistani horror film and was definitely not a bad first step. I'll recommend to watch it 👍 support Pakistani cinema in this genre for the people who are tired of typical love/comedy Pakistani films. It had great acting by the old woman, great expressions by her... Faisal Qureshi also played a very nice role, just like realistic, typical family men of Pakistan.

No plot, no story, no script only with few horror scenes they made a movie total time waste and one of worst horror movies ever seen.

Acting of faisal qureshi and sameena peerzada is good but that is the only point story is super bakwas as even child stories are better than this , I mean whoever wrote the story must be fired from this industry.

Then plot and speed is too slow and even boring and sometimes I want to fast forward the movie but have to be there as I paid money for ticket.

Pakistan cinmea made some good movies in the past like majla jatt but this movie really disappointment and made me sad.

The plot was painfully slow-you kept waiting for something to happen, but it didn't build until the interval. Even after that, the story didn't take off, and the ending felt completely forced. The film only grabbed some attention in the last 15 minutes. The CGI was awful; practical effects with makeup would've been much scarier and more effective. Instead of being scared, the audience was laughing throughout. It felt more like a bad comedy than a horror film. Soundtrack and sound mixing were also poorly done and failed to build any tension or suspense. Very disappointing overall, not worth the hype.

Deemak is a good addition to Pakistani horror cinema and deserves credit for pushing the genre forward. The editing stands out as it keeps the tension sharp and scenes crisp. However, some scenes dragged a lot. A few sequences feel stretched or unnecessary, which slows the pace. Also, the transitions from one situation to another can be quite abrupt, sometimes leaving the audience confused about how the characters react to the horror experience.

Despite these flaws, Deemak delivers good scares and an engaging atmosphere, and funny at times. It's definitely worth watching for horror fans looking for something fresh.

If it was a horror comedy, great effort. On some scenes, we all burst out laughing.

If wasn't a comedy and just horror... A pity.

A non existent story in which you have to make out things on your own because no logic will prevail.

If this movie was 40 minutes long and available on YouTube for free, it would still not be worth watching. Let alone paying 1000 rupees per person and sitting in the theater for two hours.

The male child artist visible laughs in some scenes and it made to the final cut. All the female characters have Botox filled faces finding it really hard to emote. The female lead's weight kept fluctuating throughout the film. Placement of a lot of scenes was unnecessary and made no sense.

Pro tip: never make jinns in CGI. Even Hollywood doesn't do it because it is very difficult to scare people with it. Use prosthetics or don't show but don't show cartoonish funny CGI.

The only thing I'm scared of after watching the film is the state of Pakistani cinema.
