While having drinks, the two talk about their shared history. Tensions grow, U Hyeok is mentioned, and it's revealed that he's only a best friend and is getting married to their female coworker. Min Jun is flustered and emotionally shaken.

Sleep deprived Min Jun has been swamped with the interns work for the new dating app the company is developing. Jin Hwan invites him to dinner once more, and this time drunken Min Joon cleared up some assumptions and apologized.

After drinking, Jin Hwan and Min Jun realize past misunderstandings. Min Jun feels they're incompatible and walks away, but stops when Jin Hwan calls him his first love. Jin Hwan suggests friendship that could grow into more.

After rejecting Jin Hwan's confession, Min Jun is devastated. At work, the project is finished successfully, but Min Jun learns Jin Hwan quit and can't stop thinking about him. Then, he hears Jin Hwan is leaving the country.

As they reach their one-year anniversary, Min Jun prepares a gift and Jin Hwan arranges a dinner. Jin Hwan suggests that the two move in together, but Min Jun is apprehensive about the future. Will these two finally be able to come to an understanding after one year of being together?
