In the movie "Rudra," Rabi Sharma shines as the Indian secret agent, skillfully juggling multiple layers to his character. As a hero, he brings action-packed intensity and patriotism, while as a lover, he showcases vulnerability and emotion. His quest for revenge adds depth to his character, and he navigates the complex emotions with conviction.

Adil Hussain, as the hidden terrorist, delivers a masterful performance. He brings an air of subtlety and menace to his role, making his character's reveal impactful. His ability to blend into the background and then strike with precision adds to the film's tension.

The contrast between Rabi Sharma's multifaceted hero and Adil Hussain's cunning villain creates a captivating dynamic. Both actors deliver strong performances, making "Rudra" a compelling watch with its blend of action, emotion, and suspense.

Cinematography and action sequences - top notch work, no doubt about that. Ravi da has done a commendable job, as expected. But sadly, a renowned actor like Adil Hussain failed to leave an impact on the audience, his performance felt mostly disconnected. Expected more from him actually.

And the biggest letdown was the storyline, the plot doesn't really make any sense. With a little bit of coherence and depth in the story, It had the opportunity to be one of the greatest modern Assamese film in this era. Unfortunately, it falls short of that mark, a missed opportunity I would say.

Overall a very good effort as an Assamese film.

My expectations for "Rudra" were, unfortunately, not met. This film largely falls flat, making one wonder about the creative decisions behind it. The attempt to craft an Assamese spy thriller feels incredibly misguided and, ultimately, fails to deliver.

Rabi Sharma's portrayal, particularly with the beard, unfortunately veers into caricature rather than embodying a convincing espionage figure. The terrorist storyline is, without a doubt, the weakest element of the movie, lacking any genuine tension or credibility. This kind of filmmaking risks alienating audiences who are looking for quality regional cinema.

The first half is particularly challenging to sit through, struggling with pacing and plot development. The only saving grace, and a stark contrast to the rest of the film, is the segment depicting the village story. During this period, the movie finds some semblance of warmth and genuine connection, and both Rabi Sharma and the lead actress shine in these more grounded roles.

It's clear that the Assamese film industry has a significant need for strong screenplay writers and competent directors. Without fresh perspectives and skilled storytelling, the industry risks another significant setback. "Rudra" serves as a disappointing example of what happens when ambition isn't matched by execution.

AFTER RAGHUPATI RAVI SARMA IS BACK WITH RUDRA WHICH IS MUCH BIGGER IN SCOPE AND SCALE ALSO THE NARRATIVE IT TACKLES SOME IMPORTANT THEMES OF NORTHEAST REGION WHILE MAKING SURE ITS ENTERTAINING WHILE THERE ARE SOME LOOPHOLES BUT THE SECOND HALF IS MUCH BETTER AND IT EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER RIDE EDITING COULD'VE BEEN BETTER BUT OVERALL MUCH WATCH' HOPEFULLY IT BREAKS ALL RECORDS.

DIRECTOR ROOPAK GOGOI DOES BRILL JOB SHOOTI THE ACTION SCENES AND ALSO SOME CREATIVE CHOICE OF USING AI BUT SOME SCENES COULD'VE BEEN BETTER AND NARRATIVE FIRST HALL IS CONFUSING BUT THE SECOND HALF CATCHES UP AND DELIVERS WHAT IS INTENDED ENTERTAINMENT.

I didn't expect such a low quality acting from Mr. Ravi Sharma, the acting is getting worse day by day, an actor who has been claiming to be so handsome for a long time needs to pay more attention to his acting.

I felt compelled to give this opinion because Rudra feels like a very low quality film in many ways, as it has always won our hearts with the same opinion whether it is true or false (I am always with the people, I oppose the government). These, however, do not long last unless the acting is good.
