Rudra is a good Assamese film. A beautiful story full of action, thrill and suspense. Everyone in the film is commendable. I am really impressed by the performance of our beloved Ravi Sharma. Actress Nandini r Kashyap's performance is truly commendable. Actress Archita Agarwal has also acted very well. Adil Hussain's performance is also commendable. Also, the song from Zubeen Garg and Bhaswati Bharti (Agoli Anubhabe) is really beautiful. The lyrics , the tune is so beautiful that I want to keep listening.
I hope Rudra will move forward. Rudra will set a new record. Rudra succeeded in all aspects. Thanks to team Rudra for letting us enjoy such a beautiful film.

My expectations for "Rudra" were, unfortunately, not met. This film largely falls flat, making one wonder about the creative decisions behind it. The attempt to craft an Assamese spy thriller feels incredibly misguided and, ultimately, fails to deliver.
Rabi Sharma's portrayal, particularly with the beard, unfortunately veers into caricature rather than embodying a convincing espionage figure. The terrorist storyline is, without a doubt, the weakest element of the movie, lacking any genuine tension or credibility. This kind of filmmaking risks alienating audiences who are looking for quality regional cinema.
The first half is particularly challenging to sit through, struggling with pacing and plot development. The only saving grace, and a stark contrast to the rest of the film, is the segment depicting the village story. During this period, the movie finds some semblance of warmth and genuine connection, and both Rabi Sharma and the lead actress shine in these more grounded roles.
It's clear that the Assamese film industry has a significant need for strong screenplay writers and competent directors. Without fresh perspectives and skilled storytelling, the industry risks another significant setback. "Rudra" serves as a disappointing example of what happens when ambition isn't matched by execution.

Rudra, the Assamese movie directed by Roopak Gogoi, is an outstanding movie by any standard. Ravi Sharma as the main protagonist Rudra, is really outstanding. The way he carried out his role as Rudra is there to be appreciated. His portrayal of Rudra is one of the greatest portrayal in the history of Assamese Cinema. Nandinee Kashyap as Surabhi, Rudra's better half, is very sweet and lovable. Never before in the history of Assamese Cinema has anything been so graciously made as Rudra. Adil Hussain's role in the movie too is a great asset. His characterisation by the storyteller Roopak Gogoi can never be forgotten. Roopak Gogoi not only directed this epic movie he is also the story writer of Rudra. Every actor and actress performed well in Rudra. Every body associated with the making of Rudra must be appreciated for making such an amazing movie. If anyone is waiting to watch Rudra, I strongly recommend him or her to watch this suspense thriller movie along with friends and family. All kudos to Rudra and the entire unit of Rudra. I genuinely expect Ravi Sharma and Roopak Gogoi to come up with many such enthralling movies in years and years to come. God bless Rudra and the people associated with this movie.
Yes definitely absolutely you should watch this. Unbiasedly saying this because as an Assamese film it's has grown too good. Feels like South movie but action thriller perfection. You'll never feel bored watching this movie at all. So at last I would say that this movie is an absolute banger you can watch with your family.

Cinematography and action sequences - top notch work, no doubt about that. Ravi da has done a commendable job, as expected. But sadly, a renowned actor like Adil Hussain failed to leave an impact on the audience, his performance felt mostly disconnected. Expected more from him actually.
And the biggest letdown was the storyline, the plot doesn't really make any sense. With a little bit of coherence and depth in the story, It had the opportunity to be one of the greatest modern Assamese film in this era. Unfortunately, it falls short of that mark, a missed opportunity I would say.
Overall a very good effort as an Assamese film.
