Not gonna lie I wasn't expecting this episode to be that good damn !! Seeing Brian appear again too brought back so much and that ending was 🔥 I'm looking forward to season 2 and the future seasons was what they will bring, well done to the directors, cast, producers and cast for making it an amazing season.
Okay ill be the first to say it.... resurrection is the best season of dexter. I love season 4 its a masterpiece but look at what we had today. No doubt it is by far one of the best and satisfying conclusions to a season since s7. This season had what s4 had. Suspense, great antagonist, dark plot with also slight humor HOWEVER this surpassed it for me because of how well it ended and how they turned even new characters into likable ones (this includes Harrison hated him in new blood ). Seriously excited for season 2 wish it came out next week, ykw id pay for it to drop tmr.

This is the most best ending to a Dexter series I have ever seen, since Season 4 Dexter, I dont want to spoil it but if you liked the Last Episode then just buckle up for this amazing episode.
And after a finale like that if they dont reboot this with a season 2 I am going to be shocked because that was a cinema masterpiece.

The finale of Dexter: Resurrection is nothing short of a masterpiece. It manages to capture everything that has made this series so gripping while elevating it to a new level of storytelling brilliance. From the opening moments, the pacing is razor-sharp - tense, emotional, and unpredictable - pulling you in and not letting go until the final frame.
The writing is flawless. Every twist feels earned, every callback to earlier seasons feels purposeful rather than forced, and the character arcs pay off in ways that feel deeply satisfying. The showrunners clearly listened to fans who were disappointed by the original ending, because this finale gives Dexter's journey the closure it always deserved.
Michael C. Hall delivers one of his best performances of the entire series. The way he balances Dexter's cold calculation with flickers of vulnerability and humanity is breathtaking. The supporting cast shines as well, with standout moments that add emotional weight without stealing focus. The final confrontation is both shocking and inevitable - it's exactly what had to happen, and it lands perfectly.
Visually, the episode is cinematic. The direction, score, and editing all work together to create tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. The last 15 minutes are television at its absolute peak: heartbreaking, thrilling, and unforgettable.
This finale doesn't just stick the landing - it soars. It redeems the series for anyone who felt let down before and proves why Dexter remains one of the most iconic shows of its time. A 10/10, without question, and easily one of the best episodes of television I've ever seen.

For years, Michael C. Hall gave us one of television's most complex, unforgettable characters, and despite multiple Emmy nominations during the original Dexter run, he never took home the award. That always felt like one of TV's biggest injustices.
Now with Dexter: Resurrection, there is no excuse. His performance here is on another level-layered, haunting, and deeply human. Episode 10 in particular is a masterclass in acting, the kind of work that lingers with you long after the credits roll.
This season proves that Hall isn't just revisiting Dexter-he's reinventing him. It's the best TV of 2025, and it's time for the Emmys to finally recognize the brilliance they overlooked before.
