A solid source of great Found Footage knowledge!

A great series that goes really enriches the experience for diehard found footage fans!

I love how the host goes into the history for a particular sub-genre of Found Footage and then recommend a solid selection of lesser known movies a long with the more popular movies. His near encylopedic knowledge and research shows true passion for this genre.

The host's interviews with many other directors and actors also helps provide a peek behind the scenes in understand the whys/what/how movies were made. Some of the guests even talk about mistakes that were made or budget issues that led to interesting creative choices that are not immediately obvious when viewing the movie.

5 episodes is not nearly enough

This found footage thesaurus is a must watch for anyone with even a partial interest or understanding of found footage films and film making. Starting where all good found footage novices should, we delve into the woods with Mr Squatch and then on, through the many fascinating facets and subgenres of this alternative approach to horror (usually).

Covering the gamut of found film, the series takes you beyond the surface of found film, into the history, interviews the directors of these often underfunded and independent films, as well as speaking with fans alike.

Nip over to Found TV and watch all 5 episodes now and don't forget to hound the creator for more...I certainly will.

    So well made and interesting!

If you're a Found Footage junky like me (There are dozens of us!!) you need to see this show. I really appreciate the in-depth dive into my favorite genre. As someone who has seen a TON of FF movies, I was really surprised by how many from this show I had never even heard of.

If you're don't love the genre, and maybe just saw Blair With Project once a long time ago, this show is an excellent entry into FF. It helps you understand what makes them special, the sub-genres and their unique attributes, and will hopefully make you a believer.

The best part is the director interviews. FF tends to be such a personal genre for filmmakers, so to hear more about their inspiration and choices they made is a real treat. The host is super knowledgable and delightful. I can't wait for more episodes!

    Need a weekly version

This show is presented in the much-missed style of MTVs 1990s news programs. The vibe of news being done for passion over profit comes across strong. The host clearly loves this genre, and loves the genre enough to be well educated and spoken on the genre and film. With this passion, there is also the confidence in truth- it never feels as if anything said isn't true.

I can easily see this becoming a weekly show with the variety of guests, new movies and reviews. The first four episodes felt like an old fashioned summer TV pilot run to find an audience. I hope this FOUND its audience, because I would like more.

New to the genre and love this series

I'm new to found footage and this gives me so many new titles to watch. I recommended for everyone. Great job.!

So whether you're a veteran in the genre or a beginner, it's great to watch.

Just make sure you watch from the first series if you haven't been doing it and you'll get a treasure trove of titles to go over.

Chris has done a great job of putting this together and really digging deep into the found footage world. I never thought there was this many titles of found footage to watch.

Chris's knowledge of the genre is impressive and so is his own movie. Ask!

I hope we see more in the future.
