Roll on the finale and full steam ahead to season 4! What a triumph!
Until now, I was waiting for an episode that amazed me in all its capacity: plot, acting, relevant moments for the characters' arcs,... And this was it. Every single one of Episode 7's scenes is filled with gasoline that will light the finale's fire - and, hopefully, next season's as well.
Hold on to your pillows. The best episode of the season so far, undoubtedly a 10/10.
¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaIt is mentioned that Agnes' ancestor Robert Livingston purchased 95,000 acres of land in upstate New York, what was later named Livingston Manor. 95,000 acres is the equivalent of 148 square miles. Robert Livingston the Elder was a prominent landowner and politician in the 18th century New York, leading up to the American Revolution and since the Supreme Court had yet to be established, administered the oath of office to George Washington during the very first Presidential inauguration at Federal Hall in NYC.
- ErroresDuring the suffrage meeting at the Van Rijn / Forte home, you can see Jack Trotter standing in the background. This meeting happened after Jack moved out and purchased his own home as seen at the beginning of the episode.

George Russell: You picked the wrong horse, Clay. You failed me and we parted. But why did you make me your enemy?... How could you believe you'd win?
Richard Clay: Your son got lucky.
George Russell: Luck and nothing to do with it. My son made an opportunity where there was none before, because that's what great men do. I'm glad it played out the way it did... not least because I learned your true character.
Richard Clay: I'm no different from the rest of the men in our industry. "Trust no one" was always your motto.
George Russell: You are different, because from today you're no longer in any industry, and you're finished in New York... Of course you could always try for a job in my Pittsburgh mills, amongst the workers you wanted me to shoot.
Richard Clay: I won't die away that easily, Mr. Russel... I'm like a cockroach... with a thousand lives.
