A warm love story like a woolen sweater I must say . Kafle played by Bipin Karki is divided into two parts the first one is youthful and the second one where there is something deep (may be sorrow ) inside him. Bipin karki nails the sorrow part where his wrinkles are visible , the eyes are self explanatory. My unpopular opinion I found the youthful and romantic part only "okayish!" . Miruna on the other hand blossoms as fool and make the whole story touching.

The untouchability and depression related deep issues are just scratched and do not get the depth that was possible.

So is it a good movie? Definitely yes , Not the iconic one but a good movie Should you go to watch it ? Definitely yes Specially if you love to see the beautiful eastern landscapes with so beautiful dialects its a not to miss movie.

The movie showcased a really good starting and the whole story premise with every characters having their own story resulting with the character's behaviours was really good. I can't help but appreciate sujan chapagain and jhuma limbu's music the whole music was really peacefull and good.

Lastly the whole acting of bipin karki was good some moments felt like it could be better but also it was as realistic as it could be , miruna however was a little bit not to the level as i couldn't understand some of her expressions with the scenes.

Based in the multi-cultural settings of Eastern hills of Panchthar, Nepal, the film will take us on a beautiful journey filled with the warmth of love and human connections.

Chemistry between Bipin and Miruna is absolute pleasure for eyes.

The warm and tender romance with innocence makes it truly a gem to watch.

Movie touches cultural aspect and also takes us through beautiful scenery around the hills.

Movie does have very slow screenplay but that's all for the negatives.

At last, the song "Unko Sweater" connects the each dots of movies and believe me this song sounds 1000 times better after watching the movie and understanding the innocent love between Kafle and Phool.

Would've been 10, if movie was shortened to 2h or less.

Some films do more than just entertain - they take you back in time. UNKO SWEATER brought back memories of my early teenage years and the kind of society we lived in back then. It felt so real, so familiar. Watching it made me think, "This is exactly how things were." I'd gladly have my kids watch it someday to help them understand the world I grew up in.

Out of the many movies I've seen, only a few leave a lasting impression - and this is definitely one of them. That a film of this depth and quality comes from the Nepali film industry is truly impressive. Hats off to the director, actors, and the entire team for creating something so honest and heartfelt.
