Ep 5 really didn't land for me. First off, that post-credit scene from episode 4? It was just bait. It didn't even happen in the manhwa, So it was just that the studio desperately wanted to make an exciting ending.
The setting this time, the Kingdom of Elenoir, looked really underwhelming. It's supposed to be a vibrant place full of life, but in the anime it felt completely flat and lifeless. The 3D background art looked rushed, like something thrown together quickly. There was no heart in it, no detail to make the world feel alive.
And seriously, why is Tessia suddenly so much taller than Arthur? She looks almost half a head taller now. In episode 4 they were the same size, how can the studio screw up such a detail, it just shows once again how little effort the studio puts into it.
Then there are the fight scenes again. Same problem as before. Just shaky shots, fast flashes, and those overused white streak effects. There's barely any real animation or impact. It's honestly getting frustrating to watch, especially if you've read the manhwa and know how great those moments could be.
At this point, it really feels like the manhwa is the better experience. The anime just isn't delivering the same emotion or quality.
