This episode made me laugh more than anything I've seen lately. Enver Gjokaj has a fantastic singing voice; I've never seen him better, doing it all: comedy, sci-fi, romance. I certainly hope he sticks around. Alan Tudyk also directed this episode and was incredibly funny. And Corey Reynolds is so damn entertaining, he deserves his own show. Terry O'Quinn always brightens up anything he appears in. Elizabeth Bowen is also someone who deserves her own show. I'm glad that the SyFy network has continued to broadcast "Resident Alien" every season and not force me to sign up for some streaming service.
The show is doing well after it's terrible 2nd season and climb back to solidly watchable 3rd season.
This episode was packed full of fun and funny scenes and lots of great lines. In some scenes the laughs were so dense it needed a rewind to catch them all.
I didn't notice any uncomfortable groaner social commentary injections, and the story moved sort of in a forward direction.
Harry was given plenty of space to work his comedy, possibly a little too much with the beard and the smoking mantid, but, I'd rather it went in this direction.
Enver's Joseph had some great setups for some really funny lines. "Anyone else see white dots or is that just me?" etc Overall a strong come back for the show and if they can keep it going somewhere with this amount of laughs it's going to be worth the effort.

- TriviaThe piano music playing as Joseph,(Enver Gjokaj) walks off at the end is "The Lonely Man" theme that played each time Bill Bixby moved on to a new place in El hombre increíble (1977). It also provides the title of this episode.

Sheriff Mike Thompson: Joseph ain't some head-eating alien. I mean, think about it. The guy tried to shoot us. Now, if I wanted to kill somebody and I could eat heads, I'd eat the head. I wouldn't shoot them. And I wouldn't shoot them first and then eat the head, because then it's just a dead head, and it probably ain't as juicy.
