The 1st time i watch this movie i already know it would be super duper sad, but i never imagine finishing the whole episode could be this hurt. This movie help me to get the reason to crying out loud.
Jaeha and Daeum is totally my new favorite couple!!! I hope they can be together in another time.
Pls y'all should watch this movie, i never regret for waiting this epic movie. The actor actress chemistry is crazy! Thw whole stories about friendship, relationship, family, and Daeum's dream and also Jaeha's dream is another level of 'love'😭🥀

Our Movie is a well-produced drama that excells in emotional impact. Its exceptionally sad, but it achieves that beautifully with its cinematography and complex character development.
It's still very much a "K-drama", but it takes itself seriously enough to make a meaningful impact on the viewer given the nature of its story. The leads are excellent in this series, but so are the supporting characters. It seems everyone has some amount of character development - something you don't always see.
If I had to pick one thing that could be improved, its probably the soundtrack. At times I feel it leans too heavily on string instrumentation to evoke emotions when simple piano or silence would have a stronger effect, especially given the talented performance of the actors.

*"Our Movie" is one of the best dramas to watch during the rainy season. I personally fell in love with it from episode 1, mainly because of Namkoong Min's incredible acting. His calm and quiet character suits him so well, and it kept me watching. The story is beautiful, not overly dramatic or forced. Even though it's a melo, I felt warmth and softness watching Daeum and Jeha. I only started crying in episodes 9 and 10.
The OSTs are amazing, and the cinematography is beyond words-absolutely stunning like paintings. The sunset kiss scene in episode 8 is a masterpiece. I could really feel how deeply Daeum loves Jeha. Also, with the 11-year age gap, we can clearly see how Jeha cares for Daeum in a gentle and loving way. In some scenes ,so sweet that Daeum play hard to get with Jeha For anyone who loves melo slow-burn romance, this is definitely a must-watch drama.
In episode 12, I personally felt that Jeha needed something in crying Camcorder scene and watching love in white poster scene. But overall, I give it an 8 out of 10."*

I'm not someone who usually enjoys slow-paced plots, but I don't know why watching Our Movie had me hooked from the very first episode. I was genuinely curious to see what would happen next. The acting, the storyline, the cinematography, and even the OST were all amazing in my opinion. Almost every episode had scenes that moved me to tears.
Since we already knew about Daeum's illness from the start, I found myself overthinking about when he would pass away, almost as if I was there accompanying him. By episodes 10 and 11, it truly felt like we were witnessing his final moments-deeply emotional and heartbreaking. The ending in episode 12 showed everyone moving forward with their lives, but still carrying an emptiness without him. That absence was felt not just by the characters, but also by us as viewers.
Seeing Jeha continue with life yet still have moments of breaking down, moments she never had while Daeum was alive, was such a realistic portrayal of grief. Losing someone you love means life goes on, but that empty space remains. Sometimes, you just can't escape those waves of longing and sadness. And I couldn't help but wonder... does the meal reminder for Lee Daeum still go off on Lee Jeha's phone?

I don't follow the male/female leads that much but I enjoy a good KDrama. When I was watching the 1st episode I noticed the male lead looked familiar and Yes he starred in My Dearest. In my opinion is one of the best in years. Although you will see the same gestures or acting from him but the character suits him perfectly. I love the pacing (slow yet you can listen to them talk - I recommend My Liberation Notes). The lines are no nonsense. Fun, witty, and with flavours. The camera work is peak too. The ending part absolutely blew me away and I finally gave in to the tears. You will have an idea of ending (that's the whole plot of the movie) but you won't guess the "how" it will end. Which in my opinion is how this wonderful piece excells. The acting on all their casts are on point. They behave just how they should be and no going off their characters for no reason (as most series do). You will be in for waves of emotion. A ceritified tearjerker. Don't sleep on this.
