Shaky but really tries
This is cute safe clean comedy. But the stories dont actually have a conclusion. He got only stories not jokes. Situational comedy is very risky since...we werent in the Situation so if you stick w that for extended period of time u really sound tone deaf.
Also he COULD OF made a greeeeat bit about being an ugly comedian so his fans r there for him unlike matt rife. He really could of lifted himself up tapped dance on matt rife and brought up body positivity. He really really failed that obvious lay up.

Heart Wrenching in the Worst Way.
This comedy show was outrageous. I support making comedy about your own struggles, but they things that Caleb talked about were not his to make jokes about. Suicide? Death of a family member? A concentration camp? This was not an edgy show, this was simply obnoxious.
This show should have come with a warning. As someone who has had to suffer finding out about a dead family member over the phone all alone, I could never imagine making jokes about the situation. If comedy is how he gets over his trama, that's fine, you do you, but that should be kept to friends, not broadcasted to the internet without a trigger warning.
Furthermore, the fact that he made such jokes after going to a concentration camp should be abhorred. I have personally been to concentration camps, and was living in Germany when I found out my family member had died while on the phone. I could NEVER imagine joking about such a haunting place. He may feel that as a part of the LGBTQ+ community that it is okay (I am queer too), as it was a concentration camp used against the LGBTQ+ community, but new flash: it's never okay to joke about a genocide.
Overall this comedy special lead to me having one of the worst nights of my life, as I was forced to recall painful experience after painful experience. Maybe if you've lived a life of sunshine and butterflies you'll like it, but honestly, I am shook that it is getting the positive response it has been.

Absolutely incredible!
Not only is Caleb funny, but he is smart, just so incredibly intelligent, which makes him even funnier.
His ability to make anything funny, even very serious topics, is amazing. And the fact that he is also an activist makes it even better.
He could literally make me laugh about anything, and he does!
Super great special, I can't wait for more from him!

Meh
This isn't funny and not sure if it's the jokes or the delivery. But I watch 1/2 of it and couldn't deal with the laugh track and the overall boredom of this routine. I'm fascinated that he was able to pen a deal with HBO. There are so many other truly hilarious and funny comedians that should have had that opportunity.
Simply not funny
I usually find most stand up comedians funny, however I did not find Caleb funny. His combination of delivery and perceived attitude simply didn't work. It isn't his material. I have seen other comedians make the subject matter Caleb uses both relevant and funny. I would be hard pressed to watch another one of his performances.
