The drama is too amazing as I am fan of Lee Jong Suk. So it's totally amazing !
Last night watched the 8th episode and to be honest I love the actors, the plots and the twist and yeah the most important one the romance. A romantic romance between Lee Jong Suk and Mun Ga Young is very romantic scene.

Ahn Ju Hyeong (Lee Jong Suk) is a lawyer who has a global view of his cases and try to understand the consequences who will affect everybody with the veredict. Kang Hee Ji (Moon Ga Young) care about the individuals in her cases and the consequences of the veredict who will affect that individual. Both could be right and could be wrong and the series is about this conflict.
This is the second series this year for Moon Ga Young, the first was "My dearest nemesis" and again she is the main character (with merits). Another actor in his second series this year is Kang You Seok (Jo Chang Won), the first serie was "Resident Playbook".
The supporting cast are very good and the writers did a good job with the cases. Worth a watch.
Episodes 3-6: I was surprised on how good the cases were write. Lawyers beeing humans are hard to believe but in this series they are and really this is a worth watch series.

This K-drama follows a pattern very similar to that of "Hospital Playlist." It's a solid watch due to its strong foundation, which combines routine habits with a touch of nostalgia. Instead of delving deeper into the legal aspects, it provides an entertaining glimpse into the lives of five friends working at a law firm. The chemistry between the leads enhances the storyline and adds more excitement to the series. It's simple and sweet, without dragging on, and it concludes on a very clean note. I just wish it were longer so we could have enjoyed more swoon-worthy scenes with the main characters. Overall, it is definitely worth watching, especially if you loved other series like "Hospital Playlist" and "Resident Playbook." Now that this one is over, I'm hooked on "Beyond the Bar." Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you have a great day!
"Law and the City" is a gripping legal drama that manages to be both a clever procedural and a compelling character study. Unlike typical courtroom shows that focus solely on the case-of-the-week, this series weaves complex personal narratives into the fabric of the legal battles. The show's strength lies in its diverse and well-developed cast, each member bringing a unique perspective to the high-stakes world of New York City law. The writing is sharp, witty, and unafraid to tackle nuanced ethical dilemmas, forcing viewers to question their own sense of justice. The series also excels in its visual storytelling, using the vibrant, often chaotic backdrop of the city to mirror the intricate legal and emotional conflicts faced by its protagonists. It's a show that doesn't just present the law; it explores the messy, human side of it, making for an addictive and thought-provoking watch.
Moon ga Young is just not very credible in this role. Deer -caught-in-headlights constant look on her face is a bit annoying in that role. She is not well-cast here playing a cindarela dressed up as a lawyer. Lee Yong Suk is also rather bland here, not his strongest role. The supporting roleas are all more lively.
I appreciate the camaradery and friendship among lawyers and the personal dynamic among them which is, I think, what makes this series interesting to watch. The weakness of this series is how it blends genres, which in itself should not be a problem, but it shifts and looses focus from the court drama to romance.
