Christmas at Sea

Everything felt soooooo staged. I don't care that they set some of these things up, but don't pretend that a celebrity just happened to "text" this random commoner on the ship because they just happened to hear about their movie script.... These poor Hallmark stars bombarded by Hallmark crazies. Yikes.

This show was just awful. It actually made me feel bad for the Hallmark Movies actors that are involved, perhaps required.

This is reality tv at its worst.

I enjoy the Hallmark Channel because it provides a reliable, predictable plot line with (mostly) likable characters. The stories are fun to follow, even if the end is usually known after the first few minutes. It provides a relaxing escape from today's non-stop horrible headlines.

I most definitely DO NOT watch the Hallmark Channel to hear about other peoples' issues and problems. Obviously I feel for them but we all have issues and taking a break from them IS the point of Hallmark.

Another Hallmark reality series, except this one I can actually stomach. The reason I like it is because there are several Hallmark stars on this cruise with a bunch of fans and they are mingling for days on end. Let the family reality drama begin.

I did not know what to expect from this sort of reality series, because the actors and actresses are actually interspersed with all these fans on this boat and they're conversing and hugging and taking selfies and it's really weird. Let's face it celebrities don't usually fraternize with the commoners quite like they do on this cruise and I find it fascinating. And they got some of the really popular stars, not just average ones.

Hallmark actors are more beloved, in my opinion, than the usual red carpet celebrities, because they are so prolific in their movie appearances, and who doesn't love a good Hallmark movie? It's a franchise full of really popular and very beloved performers with a massive cult fan base.

Both the professional actors and the Hallmark fans that were featured on the show were absolutely fun to watch. The passengers that were featured each brought an amazing back story that was resolved during the four episodes. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the fans who were featured came across in front of the cameras. The Hallmark actors demonstrated gratefulness for their fans and were very generous in giving their time and attention to their admirers. The documentary production crew did a great job covering the multiple storylines and the show maintained a quick pace throughout.
