Karnika

"Karnika" is a decent watch, particularly if you view it as a B-grade thriller. The storyline is moderately engaging-it centers around the mysterious murder of Karnika in her ancestral home (tharavadu) and her attempts to uncover the truth behind it. While the plot offers some intrigue, it lacks the depth and polish needed to stand out.

The performances are serviceable; the actors deliver their roles reasonably well, but none are particularly memorable. The casting of the police character feels like a misstep-another actor might have brought more credibility to the role. The direction is average and could have benefited from tighter pacing and stronger narrative grip.

That said, the background score and sound design are impressive and provide a strong atmospheric boost. Don't expect a high-standard cinematic experience-but if you're in the mood for a casual, time-pass mystery, Karnika is worth a one-time watch.
