Acquire the Fire

I want to be clear: I'm not discrediting the experiences of those interviewed. Their voices matter. That said, this documentary clearly leaned toward one-sided and unbalanced reporting. It relied heavily on selective storytelling, lacked objectivity, and appeared to cherry-pick evidence to fit a particular narrative.

I personally know many people who were part of this organization and had overwhelmingly positive experiences, none of which were reflected here. Instead of presenting a full, nuanced picture, the film focused narrowly on a few voices while ignoring many others.

What felt especially out of place (Ep. 3) was the injection of politics-viewpoints that had little or nothing to do with the stories being told. It felt forced and distracting, taking away from the core subject and those being interviewed.

Overall, this wasn't just disappointing-it was poor reporting. A missed opportunity to present a balanced and comprehensive look at an important topic.
