...but it's a fun spiritual successor. Each episode now runs around 30 minutes, giving standout moments, like the brilliantly executed prom king bit in Episode 5, room to breathe and build. That said, the extended runtime sometimes leads to bloat, with certain episodes feeling about 10 minutes too long as a few sketches drag. Some of this extra material might have been better presented as 'extended episodes' behind the XL pass, allowing the main edits to remain tighter and more focused.
Some episodes feature multiple standout sketches, while others, like Episode 1 with a noticeable lack of Charls, feel undercooked by comparison. Still, with the whole crew back together, some good laughs, and killer visuals, Extreme Peace is proof that MDE hasn't died. Hopefully Season 2 is already in the making and they hone in on what worked.

There's a lot to unpack here. The show is a work of art. MDE is back and they are willing to make the viewer few uncomfortable while getting back to their unique humor. Some of the sketches stretch out through our the episodes which creates a fun comedic narrative. The synthwave and unique graphics used between the sketches are unique and fully embrace the MDE brand. What I can say after three episodes is Erick Hayden and Charls Carroll really steal the show. I'm excited to see the other half of the series to see how they rap up their various narratives.
For people who may seem lost look up definition of satire. MDE fully embrace the concept when most of society have seen to forget it.

I was a big fan of 'World Peace' and MDE's YouTube sketches throughout the years, paid for the six episodes on their website last week thinking I'd get more World Peace-esque sketches, and was pleasantly surprised that it went beyond the original formula.
If you know about Million Dollar Extreme, you know the first season of 'World Peace' was essentially canceled on Adult Swim for being too edgy. What's great about 'Extreme Peace' being a downloadable show on their website is they don't have to worry about executives or censors. So when I started watching the first episode, it felt like I uncovered some comedy relic. This is no-holds barred comedy and satire, the kind you'd expect from comedians like Richard Pryor, George Carlin, and Louis C. K. The reason why it rubs many of the Reddit kids the wrong way is because a) they're clearly not used to that given modern TV programming and the stuff on YouTube that passes for sketch comedy, and b) they forget that all great comedy is supposed to alienate and create discomfort.
If you're expecting neat sketches that fully resolve, with a punchline every five seconds, then this show isn't for you. It's surreal, psychedelic, and feels like a bad acid dream at times. But it's one of the few viciously funny and satirical comedy shows in a world that's becoming more and more anti-comedy every day.
Great job to Sam, Nick, Charls, and the rest of the crew. Keep at it. You're doing good for the world by making stuff like this.

I came in with guarded optimism. Honestly, when comedy troupes have total creative control and production is left up to them, they are liable to go off the rails or suffer from too many blind spots.
I just finished the first episode and it's funnier than the entire first season combined. I can't wait for the rest and I'm very eager to see this series continue as long as it can.
They still achieve the same bizarre atmosphere they had before, and the episodes being approximately 3 times the length of the first seasons' doesn't dilute the quality at all. Their chemistry is as good as it ever was.

There is so much chaos in the world right now. The middle east is on fire. We need more than peace. We need EXTREME PEACE.
Never before has such a talented group of individuals come together to produce a work of art this sophisticated. While it's true that this production has its detractors, I think we can all agree that those are the same folks that have formed a shady cabal to control the world's monetary policies to their benefit. We must ignore the haters and push for more and more peace.
This show is poetry in motion picture form. Everyone should watch it. Twice. Then they should watch again.
