This episode is fire, easily my favorite one so far.
The visuals are still top-notch, and you can tell a lot of money was spent. It made me feel like I was playing a high-quality 3A game. The background details are immersive, and the atmosphere is well-crafted.
I'm also quite satisfied with the plot. There's strong continuity, and some foreshadowing is resolved. The emotional parts of the dialogue are excellent too, and the character Azik really comes to life. It's 30 minutes long, and I was completely immersed in it. When the credits rolled, I realized it was over-I hadn't noticed how fast time had passed.
So yeah, I've gotta give it a perfect score. It's an excellent episode in every way.

While nearly being the best episode of the show so far, Episode 6 was akin to a jack of trades. It had nearly about everything, intense action? Big reveals? Emotion-inducing moments? And to top it off, we got a bit with Klein's own monologue at the end, helping us dive deeper into his ongoing thoughts.
Azik is possibly the character I've been most interested in till now, besides Klein, ofcourse. A mysterious teacher who's somehow lived more than a thousand years, his entire 'reincarnate again and again and live different lives' plot is extremely intriguing and makes you wonder the strength behind this character.
I also adored the parallels showed between Azik's repeated reincarnation that rends him without memory after every reincarnation with Klein's own transmigration into the world, showcasing their lack of a sense of 'belonging' to the world around them. I cannot wait to see how these two will interact, especially since Klein's 'fated' to help Azik and be helped in return.

My god I absolutely loved this episode from beginning to end, the pacing was incredible the story is amazing and the visuals were stunning again, I cried a few times lol poor Azik I can't imagine what a life like that would do to a person, I hope the rest of the episodes will keep the same pacing this episode was 10/10 I loved everything about it.
As a previous novel reader, Azik Eggers was my all-time favourite character. I was initially worried characters in this Donghua wont be fleshed out due to the fast pacing and donghua-only watchers wouldn't connect to the characters but this exceeded my expectations by a long-shot. I even believe they did Azik better here than in the novel, they just did him THAT good!
I thought it was interesting they portrayed him as a suspicious individual at the beginning, but then reveals he's a very kind-hearted and tragic character. It certainly adds suspense and intrigue to his initial character which makes it all the more engaging.
I also believe the beginning of this episode was just as great too and I love the visualization of Klein being burnt by gazing at a God, it really helps put into perspective the strength of these deities.
Overall, I'm a LotM glazer and Azik's bootlicker, regardless, they did everything right from his portrayal, his backstory, the animation, everything!

This was actually the best eps for me. If u think it was hard to get things i will just explain here. The pacing is better, the animation, the fights, the emotion and characters building we learn azik. This was 10/10 eps. If u find it hard to understand maybe wait the dub which is much better and easier to understand or watch tiktok explainations.
