Several bombs exploded in London, sparking panic, outrage, and a sense of terror that neither London nor the UK has ever faced before. A manhunt began.
I thought this first episode was very good; it's quite factual, very powerful, and the firsthand accounts from those affected are quite shocking. I do have issues with the way they're commenting on the police; they seem to be putting the blame on them, not on the terrorists. I hope this is addressed later on. Suicide bombers in Europe - all I can say is that I'm glad I grew up in the 1980s.
This world we're in now... It was definitely an attack designed to cause chaos and create hatred between people. Muslim friends of mine were both devastated and fearful; I think the effects of these attacks linger on.
I was on the underground just two days before this happened. I can remember feeling lucky and physically sick; it did make me question all sorts of things. Did we really need to see Tony Blair?
The Kate Garraway interview, the elephant in the room as it were, I think she'd have been wrong had she not asked those questions. I may be wrong, but Kate wasn't.
7/10.
