This drama is a Gem after a long long time. The drama was so close like family. I loved it. Every actor played their roles on point. No plot holes. It's a must watch drama. Gangster drama but with lot of emotions. Loved it. Thank you all for giving us this joy. Lee dong wook as always given his best. He is the best choice. Love you Lee dong wook.

The movie is very interesting and I can't wait to watch the remaining episodes. Lee Dong-wook as Park Seok-cheol gives a deep, emotional performance. He plays a tough man who actually just wants to write and live a peaceful life. His pain and silence speak louder than words. On the other hand, Lee Sung-kyung's Kang Mi-young is gentle but strong in her pursuit of dreams. Their chemistry is emotional rather than romantic at first - and that's what makes it beautiful.

Put down the stereotyped requirements and think that it is a new actor playing that role. The play is really good, which is the director's purpose. Director, screenwriter, and LeeDongwook did a good job. Facts have proved that the character modelling is very successful! Everyone who has seen him will find him very hard.

I enjoyed the slightly different take on the family drama and gangster drama by blending the 2. This isn't an action thriller instead it's a family drama about a gangster and his family and their romantic relationships. There is quite a lot of gangster humor. Also their financial and other struggles. Humanizes the thugs. Towards the end there is a exciting show down. And it is scary because you know the different characters unlike those mindless action series.

The casting is good because Lee Dong Wook has a beautiful co star in Lee Sung Kyung. Some of his recent shows have not had such a good pairing. I enjoyed her singer character because she is beautiful and strong without being annoying. Interesting triangle with Park Hoon who plays a multi faceted antagonist.

Don't be put off by the slower pace of this show. It's unique and enjoyable. Some nice songs in the show. Bit of an anti gambling message here. Ending scene could have been a bit longer.

Thanks to the creators for the film with deep meaning. It's so rare nowadays.

What is right and what is wrong? What is your place in the world? Can you close your eyes on injustice? Should you adapt or can you dare to fight for your ideals? Can you change your life despite the circumstances? Should you think about only yourself or about your close ones either?

Such questions are faced by the main characters of this Dorama. And thanks to the excellent acting, you watch the events unfold with empathy and interest.

Family humor and gentle love line are also on high level.
