I'm honestly a bit shocked by how emotionally deep this series turned out to be.
The pacing may seem quiet at first, but there's something incredibly hypnotic and satisfying about watching two people, both carrying deep psychological scars from toxic relationships, slowly find connection and healing in each other.
The story feels almost unreal at times - like how could these two specific people ever meet? - and yet it works so beautifully.
The male lead is phenomenal; he manages to be both vulnerable and guarded at the same time, as if he's holding himself together just enough to survive. You can feel the weight of what he's been through in every expression.
The female lead is equally compelling. At first she seems like a proper, uptight schoolteacher, but there's such care in how her character evolves. When she discovers that he can't even write his own name, she makes it her mission to help him learn - not just to read or write, but to rebuild his self-worth.
He's spent his whole life being told he's stupid. She's the first person who sees his potential and tells him the opposite - and that moment hits hard.
If you're looking for a deep, emotional series that rewards patience, this is absolutely worth watching. I genuinely recommend it.
