1,000 Players Simulate Civilization: Rich & Poor

A reel on instagram told me to watch it or i would regret it. It seemed silly at first, but i was able to put something on the screen while i did other things. I didnt realise i would be setting aside everything to watch it, staying up at 4am to finish it, and i dont even like minecraft that much.

Not to mention, its on youtube. Its a free video. And i have never yelled at a screen before but there was a first time for everything. Just give it a go.

Coming into this video, after ish's 2 year hiatus I wasn't expecting too much. Just another average civilisation video, definitely interesting and a blast to watch... but that's about it. And oh how lucky I was for that was not the case. I was given so much more than that!

The way the plot moves forward is absolutely incredible. I won't try to spoil anything but in short, there are so many incredible characters in this movie (yes, a movie) and these characters have such incredible arcs.

You feel for each and every one of the characters and nations. You want to figure out the conclusion, rooting for the good guys to win, the bad ones to fall. The twists that happen all through the movie, and the political tensions that the movie explores is Hollywood level story writing - all unscripted which is quite frankly, incredible. Then way it all ties up at the conclusion is just absolutely incredible.

I would highly recommend watching this masterpiece to anyone!

Might be the greatest "movie" I've ever watched. Better than fight club. Better than interstellar. Just peak fiction. Don't put it off just because it's Minecraft. The story and arcs all come together so well in a flawless conclusion. Just watch it.

As the title says, this is the best youtube video or even the best video from internet I have ever watched. I'm talking about non-professional stuff because you can't really compare this to a scripted series or films. But it was a beautiful showcase of what people can achieve when they work together for same goal and have fun doing it. I think I only felt like this during Critical Role's (A DnD channel) Exandria Unlimited Calamity. I really like seeing improv content including many different people. In a way this experiment is also a really big scale DnD. Of course people dont think they are rulers etc. But they roleplay and everyone is in the same mindset which makes everything feel real and also fun. If you liked this, liked the united roleplay and real drama aspect of it, I cant recommend you enough to watch "Exandria Unlimited Calamity" It's the best DnD showcase I have ever seen and probably anyone has ever seen. I really don't want to wait 2 years for another video but thats one of the reasons why it makes this videos special, the scarcity (idk if this is a realy word) of them. Quality over quantity all day everyday.

This is not just the best Minecraft video ever, but one of the best videos in the Internet.

Last time I felt this interested in the plot was in Game of Thrones. Yes I'm comparing this video to GoT. That's how good this is.

The Cinematography is better than most things I've seen this year, the sound direction is literally a high budget movie level, the story and the plot is soooo good it feels unreal knowing 90% of the video was unscripted !

Ish's last 1000 player civilization video was already a masterpiece btu this was a step higher in every single point.

Grab your popcorn, turn off the lights and watch this for free instead of the new Jurassic World (yeah its mediocre compared to this).
