Verdict
I like Mr. Friend's work, hence why I'm adding them to IMDB to raise awareness of them. Generally very short horror films that tap into certains phobias such as megalophobia and thalassophobia they're generally well constructed imaginative and enjoyable.
This one channels Attack on Titan as a kayaker falls foul of a titan out on the ocean. It's quick, it's memorable, it's suitably disturbing and it's worth a chilling minute and a half of your time.
Rants
Why oh why could we not get decent Attack on Titan live action films? We got 2 and both were rather average stuff. Much alike Full Metal Alchemist the aesthetic potential was limitless, but somehow squandered by the creators. Maybe someone will try again, one day.
